I saw on allbreed that her sire only had one foal crop. Maybe that is part of it. |

Location: Oklahoma | The thoroughbred industry is a completely different world. There was a broodmare to sell at Keeneland this week for $6mil. It's hard to wrap your head around it... but it's a great industry and one I miss. |

No, she does not have any foals performing. She hasn't had any foals. She is a broodmare prospect. This mare was very dominant on the track. At this point, I would say that the purchase price would reflect someone's desire to own this individual as much as it does her potential as a broodmare. |

Looks like from the picture she sold at some point at the Fasig Tipton sale. However, I haven't seen reference to a $10mil mare anywhere on blood horse recently. |

The $10 million was in 2007. Just read article in Bloodstock horse. The $6 million is the second highest since that year. Still amazing what thourghbreds bring. The cheapest I have seen was $5000 but most are averaging 6 figures... |
