| I bought a SPIRALIZER for my mixer. It is the bomb. It peels, cores, makes curly fries, spiral cuts veggies for salads, slices etc. It came Friday and I peeled about 6 potatoes in about 3 minutes. Made a huge bowl of potato salร d. Way less to clean than the food processor. The only part that has to be washed is the cutting device. I think I am going to just leave it on the mixer. |

I love my KA mixer, but I don't do gadgets so it mixes and mixes that's about it
ETA: I do have the pasta roller/machine attachment if that counts.

My mixer is 40 years old. It is the 4.5 quart. Unless you cook for a crowd I think it is big enough. The 5 quart would be nice but it is only 2cups larger so I don't think it is really worth the price difference. The attachments fit both. My mother's Kitchen aid had a pea sheller. (Wedding gift in 1946) I have shelled many bushels of peas in my life but never by hand. My step mother would not let me have it when my dad died. Like she was going to shelll peas????\ยฉยฎโข?[ I have seen the 4.5 quart for $189. You better get a color you like because it is gonna be with you for a LONG time. Mine is harvest gold. It is going to have a make over like the one The Pioneer Woman has. Laughing. |

| I have the KitchenAid KSM150PS Artisan 5-qt. Stand Mixer. I absolutely love it but like others I don't have any attachments yet. I feel the 5 qt. is plenty big and they're very easy to clean. Nice to know it'll last a long time since it wasn't CHEAP!

Location: Utah | I love my Kitchen Aid. I seen the spiralizer and told my hubby I need one. I use the ice cream maker attachment as much as the mixer. I am building a new house and deciding if I want a cabinet for my kitchen aid or in the pantry is one of my toughest decisions so far. |
