Location: Smack in the middle of WA! | Curious about other opinions on which stud to cross my mare on! Would like to keep stud under $1000 however I do have a little wiggle room. She's an accomplished barrel horse as well as a western dressage horse. Also she's appendix so I need a regular papered stud only. I have 2 in mind, John Fame (I actually have a mare bred to him now), and Doctor Racheal. Not a great pic but all I have on my phone!

Location: Where I am happiest | I am just now seeing another DTF stad who is absolutelly gorgous. ThreeVDashTaVictory. Beautiful horse out of a very strong female family. Also there is a horse running super tuff, won a couple rounds at the XTreme Reno race by Honor Thy Mark. He is a Jet Of Honor and JOH sure seems to be a nick with Frenchmans Guy's. |

I bid on both of these studs recently in an auction and lost! So now looking at other options! |

| The more I see of John Fame and his get, the more I like him. You're on the right track with him IMO. His fee is very reasonable for the quality foals he is producing :)
ETA: Just watched your mare's video. She is really, really nice. Your picture doesn't accurately show how thick she is! Crossed with John Fame, I think you would get a stellar foal.

Location: Washington. (The DRY side.) | Honors A Bounding. His stud fee is in your range, he is also in the VGBRA SSA. (And he is in Future Fortunes, if that matters.) I would love to have one of his babies! You also wouldn't have to worry about shipping semen 3467867 miles! LOL Peggy for a really nice looking colt this year out of a daughter of Dats a Frenchman.

Location: Texas | Royal and Famous is a 1D stallion. Ran the fastest time of the OKC Derby Finals 2014. Kelly's Chick 2014 NFR qualifier and Stoli My Guy whom needs no introduction are both breeding to Royal and Famous in 2015. He placed in the 1D at Waco at the ANHA and Jud Little Barrel Bash. Roy recently was 2nd at his first pro rodeo only Andria Cline on Moses bested us by a tenth. His dam Go Royal Scarlett LTE $300,000+3 time NFR qualifier has produced the horse that won the semi-finals qualifier at Mesquite and set the new arena record at OKC Derby with a 14.8. Royal Star Commander ridden by Erin Ricotti. His full sister was on the cover of Barrel Horse News last year as well Famous Scarlett. His sire is Dash Ta Fame. He would be a clear choice for your breeding program for 2015! Top 40 at the 2014 qualifier in Glen Rose outrunning the likes of The Red Dasher and JL Dash Ta Heaven. $1250
This is two videos, the second was the fastest time of the derby finals agains some SUPER tough horses. He is still winning now with Brian Wheeler!

Common Sense and then some
Location: So. California | What do you want to improve upon with your mare? Is the foal to keep or resale? Any specific bloodlines that interest you other than DTF? |
