I AM being nice

Location: MD | A couple of years back now, I did a critique thread after each round at the NFR as a way of constructively dissecting each run and hopefully allowing all of us to gain some insight from the runs. It seemed to not only go over well, but began to limit the amount of not so constructive discussion about the runs and riders, as well. I was wondering if there would be any interest in such a thread again this year, or if someone else had already planned/been asked to do one? |

| I don't remember seeing or hearing about this... sounds interesting! There always seems to be a link from each night on Youtube so that could be posted as well re the comment about it being helpful to see the runs to go back to after reading the constructive critiques. Fun!!! |

| I enjoyed it as well. I looked for it last year and was disappointed it didn't happen. I thought it was well done. Didn't agree with everything you said, but it made me think more about what I saw and the results of the actions/positions. You called a spade a spade without bashing, and there were some nice nuggets of knowledge. I hope you do it again. |

Honestly, if any one of these girls has come far enough in their career to have made it to the NFR and has their strategy ruined by something someone said on the internet, they probably should thank their lucky stars that they got lucky enough to make it to see the bright lights once... Not to mention, social media becomes a pretty hateful place around the NFR. BHW is certainly NOT immune to that! This thread actually helped to curtail a lot of that type of discussion. |
