Location: TN | I would really like to get my two horses some magnetic blankets and eventually neck hoods for each as well. I was told that the placement of the magnets on the PHT products were very specific and therefore worth the $515 as opposed to the other brands available that are much cheaper.
Does anyone have any experience with the other brands like Back On Track, Dura-Tech, Abetta etc.? I will spend the money on the PHT products if I have to on the but if I can save $200 or more and achieve the same results that would be awesome! |

PHT is privately owned, used and developed by performance horse owners, and the most effective therapy I've ever used. |

| I have used the Dura Tech and had no problems but several on here had bad experienced due to the magnets not being applied properly to the sheet. If I had the money, I would go with PHT. I have some of their wraps and they are very well made, much better quality than Dura Tech. I do have some hock boots from a different company but I cannot remember the brand. When I looked them up on the internet, they were just as expensive as PHT. |

I just realized this about the BOT products while I was reading about them on their website. I dont think BOT is what I'm looking for at all right now. |

Location: Windoming | My horse looks like an appy after he has had his PHT blanket on. Does it do that to all horses? Sweat marks from the magnets..... |

Mine will sweat under the magnets on the areas that I know are sore. That's what was the most interesting to me at first when I initially began using them. My three year old was resting a lot on his left rear leg and the magnets on that side on his hip were the only ones sweating. |

Location: Lost in the swamps | Had two dura-techs never notices any differences in my horses.
So I sold them. As the other poster said pht and bot are two different types of therapies but their purpose is the same,to increase circulation.I Got a BOT and omg!! Amazing! We were stuck at the arena after torrential rain and flooding. And had to stall the horses which I'm not a fan of. Put it on the night before on my gelding with sacrum and back issues, the next day I noticed he warmed up Easley! Wasn't nearly as nervous. Moved better and ran his fastest time ever! He felt sooo great! I don think it's a coincidence!! I find in like bot for heavy muscles areas and pht for joints. My next item is pht bell boots!!

Location: Windoming | Holy cow, my horse must be really sore then! I know he sure didn't like the blanket when I first put it on him. Had to take it off within an hour, as he was fidgeting and dancing around tied to the trailer. Which he usually doesn't do. Now he likes to have it on and stays relaxed.

Location: Got Lobsta? | I've had my PHT for 6 years now - its a bit beat up but works GREAT! I decided to try a BOT blanket, the 2nd day I put it on the front ripped apart. I also notice it created a lot of heat while traveling in the trailer. I LOVE PHT! Getting another one soon for my new horse. |

| My BOT is several years old and still in good shape but I don't use it in the summer due to how hot it gets down here. My horse actually prefers BOT to magnets, but that is a whole other story, lol. You just have to figure out what is best for every individual. |
