Rare Bar/Peppy San Badger Mix
boon

Hey guys, I have the the opportunity to breed my Peppy San Badger mare to a son of Rare Bar this coming spring. Wondering if anyone has done this before. The mare is straight reining cow bred, stands 14.3 and is built like a brick house. The stud is a 3 year old and its 15.3 already, very very nice looking. Wondering what something like that would look like/ if anyone has bred something like that and what it was like. I'm hoping that it would be something a little larger than 14.3 considering the stud is already 15.3h tall.
Thanks in advance!

I'd guess you'll get something taller than 14.3. I'm all for trying pairings that I haven't seen if I think it would work :

Hi, I know you posted this a couple of months ago but just came across it, I have a coming 7 yr old by Rare bar out of my poco bueno / doc bar mare. I personally LOVE the mix. My mare was very nice to run but I was hoping to take some of the rate out of her colt with this mix, and this worked out just as I had hoped... Perfect mix of run & turn. This boy is very fun to run and is doing quite well.
