Location: Kansas | Did anyone watch this special on NBC last night. It was a charming movie about a particular time in the life of Dolly as a child. I loved it. Ricky Schroder was great as her Dad who hauled his huge family to church every Sunday but waited outside smoking cigarettes until church was over. The little girl who played Dolly was adorable.

| I made a point to watch it because I am a HUGE fan of Jennifer Nettles. She is awesome in everything she does. Besides that, it was a great little movie! The two youngest girls, Dolly and Stella(?) were funny little things!! |

Location: Kansas | Dolly's obsession with make-up certainly never changed, did it. She will be 70 in January, swears she'll work until she falls over dead, and never ceases to be totally awesome.

Location: 31 lengths farms | I didn't get to watch it darn it. It was a song that always reminded me of my mom and how she was raised. I bought the book for her for Christmas about 20+ years ago, she cried reading it and said "That's my mom..." I said "That's what I said too mom". Its still up on her little keep sake shelf. |

Location: Northwest Florida | I absolutely loved it. What a beautiful story. I love that Dolly has known she was a star since she was so young. Even though it had such a happy ending I just cried my eyes out when it was over. I was so thankful when he walked in that church.
I wish there were more movies like that on TV. Way to go, Dolly. |

| I DVR'd it and just watched it last night. What a beautiful and touching story. It is a tear jerker but it is very, very touching and has a wonderful message for us all. God definitely blessed Dolly with a special gift and it's easy to see why....she has touched so many people with her music, her generosity, and now with this movie of the story of her life, a message worth hearing and sharing with the world. |

Can't imagine with 13 million viewers they wouldn't replay it. I'd watch it again.
