| Does anybody live in or around Grapevine, TX. Wanting to know for future retirement. Things like rain fall, pasture land for horses and hay, arenas, etc. |

Location: Oklahoma | I am not sure about all the details but I have been there to visit great wolf lodge and the gaylord resort the traffic was awful. I no it is right north of dallas, so land will be pretty expensive im sure. I would go further north and get out of the city like aubry, whitesboro area where they are high horse communnity area's. |

| Thanks I will check them out. I have been through Whitesboro and was interested in it. Have not checked out Aubry. Other half is maybe wanting to move so he is closer to his kids. I would prefer to stay where we are at which is around Ardmore, OK, close enough for me. LOL |

| WOW just checked out their real estate. They are quite proud of their land. Looks to be expensive land. |

Location: Texas | There isn't really much in the way of affordable acreage in that area. Its a cute little town but not very horse friendly. I would look north/northwest like someone else suggested above. |

Location: Texas | Yeah Grapevine is definitley not what I would call horse friendly. Plus thats where DFW airpot is so not much relaxing out doors. I would look at roanoke, argyle, saginaw, rhome would be more horse friendly. Whitesboro/aubrey is still pretty far from grapevine if you are wanting to stay more ine the city. If you go out to the aubrey/whitesboro area Denton would be closer as the main city, but I think land is also getting quite pricey out there as well. |

Location: Buffalo, TX | I have family in Grapevine and watched it grow from a quiet, cute, semi rural area into the monster mess it is now....it's now a total high end home community surrounded with construction, auto dealers, malls, shopping centers and unending traffic....I would stay outside of the Ft. Worth, Dallas area for sure....Grapevine is what I would call a metropolitan area anymore.. |

| Very expensive and crowded area. Look further to the west of Dallas/Ft Worth for more affordable property. |
