We've been at our house 5 years now and when we moved in, several of the horse areas had vinyl fence... although it LOOKS nice, it's been a disaster having it.. we had a post break right away.. now a rail when the horse kicked it and then the WIND broke two posts yesterday and almost tore the whole fence. down. Then we decided to move a part of one of the fences... it's nearly impossible to pull the rails out and move them, they're engineering to lock into place and hell to get out, the posts are also Very tough to dig up with out breaking them... the type we have is MASTER HALCO. I'm wondering if there are any warrantees with this fence? it's a nightmare! Just didn't want anyone else to waste their money!

Vinyl fencing is crap. Breaks easily and dangerous to a horse one it is broken. We lived at a house that had it and we had to install electric tape the whole way around. It's pretty, but poor quality....in my opinion.

I looked at a place and when I found out it had the vinyl fence. . I didn't buy it.  I figured I would end up having to replace it all.  Looks pretty, but longevity doesn't seem to be there.

Yup, vinyl fencing looks really pretty ... but is NOT good horse fencing in reality.

We have the white vinyl 4-rail around the front of our place - for the good looks; however, our horse pastures are electro braid.

Funny, we have just under 20 acres fenced in the Master halco vinyl fencing for about 15 years and it has held up great. Still looks good and we pressure wash it to keep it looking nice. Our 6 horses respect it and we have not had any problems. Sure sometimes they pop out a rail and I must go pop it back into place, and occasionally (rarely) they have kicked & shattered a rail that I must replace, but the 3 rail fencing has held up very good. We did our research on this brand and it is heavy duty, more so than other brands. Yes, I'd do it again, and yes I've had the wooden rails at a prior home that I didn't enjoy painting each year.

Very nice , our neighbor down the road from us has the same fencing and never had a problem either, hardley ever see the horses by it, they have plenty to eat so theres no problem with the horses leaning on it. And he gets it pressure washed about once a year, or when it needs it.
