Extreme Veteran Posts: 399	So as odd as it sounds.... my horse is walking like he drunk and is dragging his toes.. he was like this a week ago and then he came out of it after walking for 10 min and was in the barn I was thinking he simply got coldone and everything was tight on him because he got better the more he walked. This morning he was walking like he was drunk again and dragging his toes. I don't know how else to describe it but that he is walking like a drunk. He has been eating and drinking like he normally does and no fever or nasal discharge and he is bright eyed.. any other suggestions BESIDES Epm because that's the only thing I can think of. Extreme Veteran Posts: 399	He has an appt this week for a vet to do testing for EPM and he has had no injury. He leads a pretty cushy life lol.

Saint Stacey	Wobblers and ionophore tainted feed would be at the top of my list. When Sidekick had wobblers, he'd look normal one day and the next day he wouldn't know where his feet were. Then he'd be fine. He got progressively worse over time though.

Mrs. Perks Alive Posts: 1162 Location: Madill Ok	can you check to see if he has a nose twitch or any facial twitching, abnormal twitching anywhere. That would be signs of west nile, could also be EPM. Does he act like he can see properly, any swelling top of his head and you need to check his tempurature. if they are running a temp, they feel terrible but temp would be in relation to WN or EPM too.
