| I have a horse with ulers and skin allergies. I ordered the Total Cur ost. I CANT get her to eat it! If I wet it she still works around it. I called the company to return the other bag and she suggested honey. Still wont eat it! Anybody else having any trouble getting their horse to eat it? Looks like a great product and really wanted to see if it would help even though it's pricey. |

Location: Where the long tails flow, ND | How long have you had it and what are you feeding with it? It took my cousins mare a few days but now she licks her tub clean, along with the 4 others in my barn.
The first couple days I sprinkled water on it so it would 'coat' the grain better.

Location: MD | How much are you giving her? I would only give her a half scoop and then slowly get her used to it. If she won't eat it can you leave it in her bucket so if she wants to nibble on it through out the day she can? What kind of grain do you feed? |

Location: NE Texas | Like others say, start with a very small bit, like half a scoop. Put feed in bucket/tub/whatever you're going to feed in and add a bit of water to moisten, stir. Then add a small amount of product and stir again, then serve. Yes, it took my horse about a week to decide I wasn't trying to poison him and whatever he didn't finish I would dump on top of his next feeding. I didn't give him the full 2 scoops until he was licking his bucket on about day 7. |

Location: Midwest | Turmeric has a spicy smell, so that could be it.
im guessing they will get used to it. My suggestion is applesauce or HealtyCoat if have it on hand. Mine is picky, but those usually work. I haven't used cur ost but my gelding hates smelly powders, and this has worked for me. :) |

| I agree . Start with small amount. Work up to the loading dose. You might try a small amount of sweet feed with it. Then reduce the sweet feed as your horse starts eating the cur Ost. My mare loves it. And she is a picky eater. And if she has ulcers that's another reason she is a picky eater. You might try giving her some aloe era juice that you get at Walmart . 30 cc's about 15 minutes before feeding. You will love the Cur Ost. Don't give up. There is a lot of support on here and on second vet .com |

She now licks her bucket clean. I never had to add water, just started with a small amount(1 scoop each product) and kept dumping the next feeding on top. She now eats faster than any other horse in the barn. It's been two weeks and I've already seen some positive improvements. So happy I made this switch.  |

| I mix mine on soaked alfalfa pellets and try to mix it in but my mare loves it so much she digs in before I get to it and tries to get into the bag. The pellets have worked well though. |
