Location: Missouri | Since it is the beginning of 2016 and barrel racing is still slow, I would like to save up as much money as possible before I start up again in the spring. I have a good paying job that covers most of my expenses, but I would like a little extra on the side. I don't want to kill myself with two jobs, no reason to. Just curious what everyone does for a side job. Not sure I am interested in a pyramid sales job, none of them really appeal to what I stand for. I am into health and fitness and do a lot of support groups and help people lose weight, but I do not want to charge people to make them healthy, not fair. So, I am just curious what are some fun part time jobs that keep you busy and provide that little extra. |

| I have a M thru F office job and one of my coworkers and myself clean our offices as a side job. We stopped our outside cleaning service and now do it internal. We are a small office and it doesn't take too long. We each make $100 per week. We each do 2 days and alternate Fridays. It is the perfect 2nd job. |

Location: Phoenix | I deliver pizzas Friday-Sunday in the evenings. I leave every night with cash tips (~$30-60)and make about $120 every 2 weeks working 12 hours a week. Not tons of money but it pays for my extras and it's super easy. |

Location: Texas | Maybe work evening at your gym or weekends? It's usually fairly easy to get a desk job at a gym signing memberships, giving tours, etc. and would probably get you a free membership and save you a little more money each month. |

Location: Arkansas | I do beadwork--mostly over and unders and mule tape halters. I started it as a hobby, and it just kind of exploded, lol. Keep me super-busy, but I've been able to rodeo without stressing too much over if I win, so it's been worth it. |

Location: Jersey Girl | Although I am not able to do it now due to medical issues, I had been doing 2 feedings a week at the barn where I board. I would save $160 per month off my board and was using that to fund my barrel racing habit. |

Location: Kansas | I make & sell some polo wraps, and I also pick up some freelance writing from time to time. In the past, I've worked at a monthly sheep auction to make a little spare cash, and I substitute taught the past couple school years to supplement my newspaper income while I worked on prereqs for my own teaching program. I also gave riding lessons occasionally for a little extra cash, but mostly for the fun & chance to do something different with the horses. The kids loved it, horses loved it and it reminded me how lucky I am to have these awesome animals in my life. |

Location: ~Kansas~ | I used to work at Walmart part time for 3 years on nights and weekends then Orschlen part time on weekends for 2 years.
I quit both of those to do a home based biz .. I know you are not wanting to do that. But I love it because I can work it in my spare time at home.. on the road.. whenever in the heck I want to. I also make more money :)
In high school and college I worked at local farms/ranches from cleaning stalls, feeding critters, hauling hay etc...

I wouldn't mind selling something but I would really have to believe in it. Most of the products I see don't fit what I believe in.

Location: Alberta | I have a home based business that I enjoy because I already use the products and love sharing them, so doesn't appear as work, ha ha!!! It works well for our lifestyle and all the craziness life throws at us and I NEVER thought I'd have a home based business.....I did lots of research before I started mine.
Best of luck!

Location: Alberta | I wanted to comment on your mention of Pyramid Scheme. They are in fact illegal and if someone asks you to do it definitely say no. Network Marketing & Direct Sales are the terms used for businesses such as Tupperware etc. The Direct Sellers Association is a great resource to check if a business someone presents you is reputable and in good standing.

Network marketing, home based businesses are definitely seen as the future. Online sales are increasing, time leverage and personal flexibility, people are managing their own businesses and growing themselves along the way. |

Location: Deep South | I start colts for people. Just 1-2 at a time, because that's all I have time for with my full time job and trying to ride my own. But that extra money each month really does make a difference, plus I thoroughly enjoy it. |
