I have a 26 year old gelding that has been retired full-time now for about 3 or 4 years. He has never been an easy keeper, but this horse has ALWAYS given 120% in everything we've asked him to do and he's more like a family member than a pet in our eyes, so he's rather spoiled. I am just trying to keep him comfortable/feeling good in this frigid cold.... What would you all recommend for an older, possibly arthritic horse that is not being rode or worked? Just looking for something to keep him feeling good and not getting stiff, sore or achy if possible....

THE Muscle Mass with added blends. I have my 26 year old on it. Started after the floods here in Oklahoma as I was having so much trouble with legs swelling and so forth. Put him on THE and he is doing great and has finally added weight. I have also started the Omnis cubes.

You cannot compare these 2 products. They are totally different
PHT does a lot more than just increase circulation www.phtmagnetics.com. I have posted this several times before so I will post it again
First thing to remember is these are 2 totally different therapies and do totally different things.
PHT Magnetic Products
Enhances ability of the body to remove toxins naturally

Improves circulation

Increases cellular oxygen

Reduces fluid retention...

Fight infection - enhances lymph flow

Helps to flush latic acid after workout

Supports biological healing

Reduces inflammation

Balances acid/alkaline balance

Relieves Pain
And when combined with Our CuHorse products (MagnaCU)  the relief and healing that takes place is very real.

BOT how it works

How Back on Track works
Back on Track's joint and muscle support are all made of functional textiles with heat reflective properties. The textile is a synergy of ancient Chinese experience and modern scientific textile technology. During the manufacturing of polyester- or polyester fibres, the ceramic particles are fused into the fibres. When heated, the ceramic particles radiate a heat back towards the body. This reflected heat is long-wave heat radiation, which is also known as long wave infrared radiation.

Heat Radiation
It is well established and documented that long wave infrared heat radiation increases the blood circulation. The increased blood circulation in the tissues helps to relieve muscles tension and improves performance. One important property is the injury prevention effect, which you get when the protections are used for training and competition

There is no "build up" of time when using PHT. No worry about outside temperature with any of our products usage.

PHT has also developed a new line of products called MagnaCu They combine PHT magnetics and Copper infused fabric. These two combined are fabulous at promoting healing and homeostasis www.magnacu.com

I personally know first hand the difference between PHT and BOT as I have used both on myself. PHT won hands down! The BOT just aggravated my problem. I bought a shirt for my husband and he hated it but loves the Tommie Copper shirts. Mags with Copper rocks..

So, I don't own either but I do have a draper therapy sheet (like BOT-made in the USA) and magnetic hock wraps (like PHT)  please note I said "like" not identical.  Anyway my take on both items-I use them at the same time on both horses.
I think my horses warm up faster after having their blanket on-it seems to limber the muscles and calm them-the wraps are used on diagnosed arthritic hocks which also helps the horse warm up faster.  I will use both after a pretty strenuous work out for both horses to help ease the "pain" of the cool out-I feel they cool out a little slower and have less stiffness after.  Regarding the arthritic hocks-I worry about putting a heat producing product on them like the draper therapy hence the reason I went with the magnets-not sure if that helps but gives you a "real use" situation.  With that said, I really would like a magnacu blanket-as my horses age I "think" magnets are probably "better" for relieving generalized arthritic issues.
I have a draper lap blanket, socks and tshirt for myself that does help a lot for the "aging" aches and pains too

I can't speak for the blankets because I've never tried either, but I have tried BOT wraps on the legs versus the PHT MagnaCU leg wraps.

Love, love the BOT.

Didn't notice anything with the PHT. So I sold them.
