After a long conversation with them Their feeds are produced in Seperate mills from the medicated cattle feed.
Feeds that do not have any pellets in there are produced in Cheyenne Oklahoma and it is a total horse feed.
The Friona facility is quite large and does produce both but the horse feed is in a total different building and they are very aware and have revamped to ensure there is NO cross contamination. They are guaranteeing it. They are not doing the cleanout type deal. The horse feed is in it's own building.
Just another option... Gene was great to visit with so if you have any concerns just go to their website can call one of them

SO are KING brand feeds in CA. Based out of King City, CA. THey are so aware of the contamination issue that they print right on the bag that they operate ionophore free mills.

The man explained to me why they stopped doing the steam flaked barley. They simply had too many products and had to cut some out of the line
( I totally understand that
) It was one of the least selling products. But the barley they use in these horse products is the same...
PS Serp loved hers tonight. LICKED it right up!! cleaned her bucket
