Good Ole Boys just Fine with Me

Location: SE Missouri | Sometimes we get caught up in stuff not going quite right. From our time being off at a barrel race, people at work annoying us, someone cutting us off in traffic, our spouse getting on our nerves (or mother, father, sister, brother, cousin, you get my drift), not getting that new piece of whatever we wanted, and the list goes on. AT that moment maybe it seems like a huge deal..
I'm sure others have suffered through this but I'm totally in shock about this news. We had a friend whose son - freshman in college, a good kid, ROTC scholarship, worked hard, friendly, etc took his life this week. It's so sad and I'm heartbroken for them. I can't imagine feeling that I couldn't go on and I couldn't imagine the pain I would feel if that was my sibling that did that (since I don't have kids that's the closest I could fathom).
Just stop a minute when you want to gripe about something and remember how blessed you really are. If you can spare a prayer for this family I'd sure appreciate b/c they need all the support they can get.. |

| This kind of thing is always such terrible news. The family is going to be left with such guilt and sadness. My Prayers are being sent to them.
We really do need to remember that everyday we wake up is a blessing and shouldn't be taken for granted. |

Location: North Dakota | Prayers sent your way. Suicide (for me) is one of the hardest things to understand OR come to terms with, even if you're not close family. There's always a place on the edge of my brain that wonders/worries about the family members that are left behind when this happens. Your friends will NEVER be the same, when the time comes be a listening friend and a shoulder to cry on if they need it. |

| Prayers for you and all of the family and friends..I can't imagine. Definitely makes me realize that those minor things in life I get upset or stressed about really aren't worth it. |

| My aunt posted on fb today that her friends son took his life also. Its heartbreaking to be that depressed, sad, hurt and think you can't go on. I just really hope these kids knew just how much they are loved. Sending so many prayers out to these families and friends. |
