Why? So he can recruit from our prison system here? Bad idea... |

Truthfully, I don't know the answer to that. Maybe so he can't escape from our prisons. I think I read that he had help from the inside on his escape from his Mexican prison. |

I've read some articles on him and I wouldn't want to be on his bad side for sure. He sounds like a ruthless dude! |

His buddies dug a mile-long tunnel right up into his jail cell. Shows you how much help he probably also had from the inside.

Location: So. California | This guy is bad to the bone, has millions and millions at his disposal, controls his cartel from inside of prison, and he's escaped twice. I can't think of a single reason we should pay to house him here (drug trafficking charges). Let Mexico deal with their problems. |

I expect he'll go to ADMAX, which means he'll not have any contact with anyone but guards or a lawyer... Ever... |

(or you're full of $hit ) It is all over the news. He was reaching out to actors, wanted a movie made of his life. Penn went as a "journalist". Questions were submitted in advance for approval, penn was not allowed to ask follow up questions. The interview will be published by Rolling Stones magazine. Rolling Stines sipubmitted the interview to El Chapo who had vetoe power. True journalism at its best-gag, especially from Rolling Stones UVA mess.

Okay... My bad and my apologies.. I had not checked the news today... Yesterday it was movie producers that wanted to do a movie about him that helped track him down.
I can now only assume the worst about Mr. Penn... |

Yep heres another criminal that wants to be made famous by being a star.. Sean has made a movie playing the criminal, I think it was called Blow, base on a true crime boss. Oh wait wrong actor, I'm trying to think of his name, dang it I can see his face but cant think of his name..I got it its Johnny Depp that played on the Blow, I think thats the movies name.

If this turns out to be true... Mr. Penn is guilty of a serious crime... |

High rate of conversions to Islam[edit] In addition to immigration, the state, federal and local prisons of the United States may be a contributor to the growth of Islam in the United States. J. Michael Waller claims that Muslim inmates comprise 17-20% of the prison population in New York, or roughly 350,000 inmates in 2003. He also claims that 80% of the prisoners who "find faith" while in prison convert to Islam.[1] These converted inmates are mostly African American, with a small but growing Hispanic minority.[2] Waller also asserts that many converts are radicalized by outside Islamist groups linked to terrorism, but other experts suggest that when radicalization does occur it has little to no connection with these outside interests.[3][4][5 |
