Location: Buffalo, TX | The quality of the electric slide mechanism and surrounding reinforcement is very important. Your entry level trailers have more than their share of problems and warranty work on them....our shop has seen it all....
Normally, Platinum, Elite, 4-Star don't have problems with theirs. |

Location: Missouri | We had a Merhow with a slide, never a problem with it, no leaks, and it worked as long as the battery was charged or it was plugged up! lol
oops you ask if you had problems - sorry |

Location: At the barn | I have a Bloomer 18' SW with slide. So far the only issue I've had is if I'm on unlevel ground the slide may drag on the flooring inside. I can push the top up and it easily slides without scuffing mt floor. But if I'm good and level there's no issue.
And I love the room it gives you! |

Location: The Great Northwest | I have a 2016 Sundowner with a slide not any problems. It has a rack and pinion for moving the slide. The cables tend to stretch or break and get out of alignment. All the motor homes use rack and pinion. |

| My friend had a bloomer with a slide, it would just slide out when driving down the road and leak. It was a lemon maybe. |

me too!!! And I'm on the same page as you. Haven't had a problem yet.
Like another poster said, if you're on uneven ground, it might "hop" a little going in and out, but I have yet to see mine leak or stop working. I haul to a winter barrel series and sleep in it and it stays toasty warm. and when I say toasty warm, I mean I'm living in below 0 North Dakota and its keeping the cold out. |

Great to hear! I make sure its fairly level when I put my slide in and out. Much easier on it. I'm in the frozen tundra of South Dakota and have stayed in my trailer in January and february with no problems. |
