   Location: Wisconsin | Hi all!
Sorry in advance, it always seems that the only reason i post here is questions on an ideal cross on mares!
I have a mare that i recently acquired. She is sired by Taking On The Cash and out of a Webb County mare. She was crossed on Schimke's "Firewater Finale" that cross is her only proven cross to date. She has been crossed on 99 Goldmine and the colt is now a three year old and will be campaigned. Her last colt she had is coming just a year and is sired by Texoma Quarter Horses's "Tres Kings". She is back in foal to Tres Kings for a 2016 colt. My question is, i am having a hell of a time narrowing down who to breed her back to this year. This mare is big, near 16 hands, and stout. So breeding her to anything big will create a monster.
I have a contract to French Streaktovegas and love her three year old colt by 99... Can anyone help me out here? I would love any input. i have attached a picture and will also attach her pedigree.
Thanks!

Location: Under The Big Sky Of Texas | What a nicley bred mare, I would look at these two studs Ivory James and Judge Cash, I love the bottom side of her, her dam was bred as nice as the top side. I love that she has Three Ohs in her line..

Location: Wearing a winter coat...... | LOVE her bottom side! I have a mare bred like her that I have crossed on a few DTF sons and Blazin Jetolena. Both crosses have worked well. Good luck in your choice! I will add- my mare is 14.3 but throws size bred to anything. Her BJO colt is just as big as the DTF were. |

Location: Wisconsin | Thank you all for the nice comments on her! Her filly by firewater finale is the only proven cross as it's the only cross old enough so I guess I can't be totally partial to crossing her on anything different. I love Alive N Firen and inquired about a contract to him as well. I'm looking mainly at this time for resale and marketability on her colts. Any suggestions there? Would anyone recommend BHR Frenchies Socks? I'm not looking to spend a ton on a breeding fee but will consider it. |

she has "produced" a mare who is now a proven futurity horse and competed in college rodeo, am i using incorrect terminology? |

Location: Georgia | Have you considered First Down French? He was a super nice barrel horse himself and his first crop are already proving themselves at futurity horses, as well as placing in the 1D at open shows. I would definitely consider him. You would get a double dose of Dash For Cash, but I wouldnt let that turn you off. Most horses have DFC on their papers multiple times with no ill effects. |

No you are using it correctly, however many don't. If that cross is proven, why would you switch it up? Most of us spend lots of money and time to find the right cross for our mares. I'd stick with Firewater Finale or maybe upgrade to FWOTR next year, hopefully you will get the same or better outcome. |

I crossed him on my personal barrel horse, who doesnt have any big names on her papers and got a great looking filly. So crossing him with your mare would produce something magical! lol |

I would love some color but my mare likes to throw sorrel... Crossing her on a pal would probably get me a sorrel
