Can you see offspring?
What do they mean by linebreeding? Isn't that and inbred thing?
How do they even go about this hypothetical breeding thing? Do you get to keep those hypothetical breeding in some "virtual barn" thing. If you know what I mean by that lol
And again Can you see the offspring that are on file on allbreeds? I'd like to view offspring. |

| Does anyone know if a hypothetical breeding gets into the system? Found a colt out of my mare that doesn't exist but would love to have. Unfortunately my mare has passed on. I know the colt doesn't exist because the stud was born after I purchased my mare and the only two babies she has ever had are standing in my barn. Just wondered how that happened. |

| You can see offspring without a membership, I think. |

That happens from people that are too cheap to purchase a subscription so they just make up the horse and add it to the database. |

In a way, that's kind of a compliment to my mare....they had her crossed to a Dash of Color and picked a name that I would have picked for the baby.
And by the way, you CAN see pics without a subscription. |

Or, when entering the pedigree someone accidentaly picked the wrong dam... it happens.
ANYBODY can change the pedigree's on AllBreed, add notes, add pictures, etc. That is what I don't like about that site. It can be very inaccurate. They track the IP address, doesn't help...

| I do however subscribe to it for a number of reasons. First, I am a pedigree person and the first thing I do when someone mentions the name of a horse is head to allbreedpedigree.com. I also think it is a very useful tool for the horse industry and if nobody subscribes how long do you think it is going to last? Very helpful but you need to take it for what it is. |
