Pentosan Gold if I I/M

Feed throughs I use come in powder only
for those that have issues Flamoxide $78 a month's supply shipped. I have a 40 yr old pony on it and 23 yr gelding
for those that I am riding/competing on JointFlex $133 shipped for 80 scoops. Have had hunter/jumper in training on it and will have barrel horse prospect on it in the spring when he comes back in from winter pasture.
JointPlus is a good one they offer too for those that don't really have issues, but want a good supplement to keep joints healthy. $88 shipped for 80 scoops.

that's how I have gotten. Why wait until you have issues. My 23 yr old gelding is shot, I mean his knees are horrible. Had I known more as a young girl I would have done some things differently. Of course the pony has had nothing special until these last 3 yrs of his life and he feels like a million bucks.

I just decided to put anything I am hauling and running on Pentosan and I do love what the FlamOxide is doing for the one guys knees. I'm a huge believer in their supplements so when they came out with the Jointflex, I decided to put what I was riding on it as well. We ranch on them too, except the h/j, so they get some long days.

I've tried just about everything on the market including cosequin, platinum, and many more. Years ago I was introduced to Oxy-Gen at the World show and honestly I have never looked back. I have noticed a difference with each product I have used. Especially the daily Oxy-Max (alfalfa based pellet) which has tons of joint support, front and hind gut ulcer prevention, and lung aid. It breaks down to about $59 per month. I liked it so much I became a rep about 3 years ago. If you have any questions feel free to messag me and I can tell you more.

Animal Element Foundation Detox is great for joints, hooves, topline, and all over health. I use it daily. If I have one specifically with Joint issues I add pure msm also by Animal Element. It is the purest form on the market.

I'll third this.  By better managing the inflammation, we're reducing the rate at which bony change and arthritis occur, while also better managing the pain associated.  The damage and bony change already present can't be improved, but the goal is to slow down the progression.

Which is why I think a curost type product is very useful IN ADDITION to a good injectible ( Adequan, pentosan, Legend, Polyglycan, and joint injections where needed). Unless your horse is a pasture pet (Most on here are competitive barrel horses) then your going to get wear and tear and arthritis. We are simply asking our horses to do things they were NEVER DESIGNED to do. I feed a clean diet to my horses, use curost as a daily, but I would be a fool to think that my horse would get all they need for joints and joint health simply from the best forage possible and curost alone. I also am a firm believer that oral joint supplements really have not proven to get the job done by themselves either. The best option for my horses is curost total support and injectibles when needed. My horse with " Issues" gets curost total and Pentosan gold every other week and a booster when competing. My young horse gets curost and 2 adequan loading series a year and Legend IV before weekends where he will be making multiple runs. One run a weekend I don't use the Legend.

My favorite that I have used for over 10 years is actiflex. It's very cost effective and flat out works. It's the only cost effective complete joint supplement out there. So many joint supplements don't have all the necessary ingredients. It only comes in a liquid or a powder. The powder really isn't a powder though. It's not dusty, denser, and is almost like ground up alfalfa. It smells really good. The liquid is pina colada flavored. I've never had one turn their nose at it. Oh the best part is you only have to feed 1 oz per day.

If you must have a pellet I would go for corta flex. It's my second choice to actiflex.

OxyMax which covers lungs, joints and ulcers. TNP by Oxygen if they need more advanced support. And Oxygen Fluidity paste.

Are you still getting your Pentosan from HorsePreRace?? I have some left but I need to check the date on it. My main guy is on CurOst but he has multiple issues and I was thinking of putting him back on the Pentosan also.

Actiflex 4000.. The liquid. It really does work in days. ( Dogs too) .Has way more amts of ingredients than anything else..and not costly. I also think it is important to have the Omegas , fish oil, flax, coocunut etc which is why I love Renew Gold ..
For an oil I think Equine Omega Complete is the best out there today if one needs to go that route.. Some are able to give up their joint supplements .
