Location: Southeast Louisiana | Has anyone here added a stud panel or stud wall to a 8' wide trailer? If so, about how much did it cost?
I have tried online searches and could not find anything recent.

Yeah, I was wondering how much a new divider would cost. Either that, or I know they make a lower aluminum piece. The one I'm looking at doesn't have rings or anything to attach a lower piece. But, I don't know what all is available out there as far as kits or add-ons. I did see a few where they attached rubber mats. I'd prefer something more solid. I want to try and use the first stall as a mid tack. |

Location: In my own little world | I have the Paddies from Western Legacy Sales (Iconoclast). They aren't solid but I have them hanging from each divider and they go all the way to the floor. I am able to use my front stall for feed or storage with them. Heavy duty but portable. And if I have a strange horse hauling with me it keeps them from trying to kick each other, etc. They have been great for the money. They are about $175-$200 each. |

Location: on a hill | Contact the manufacturer of your trailer and ask them to sell you the pins and rings to weld on the top divider. Go to a welding fabrication shop and have them make you one. That's what I did and it cost me less than half of what you buy a divider for from the manufacturer new. They just copied what the top divider was made from and you couldn't even tell it didn't come from factory. |

Found a dealer about an hour away who could order the Paddies, and ordered 2. Should be able to pick them up this weekend. |

Location: Oklahoma | I believe my husband and I were quoted around ~$400ish for an Elite stud divider that goes to the floor. That was from the factory. I believe we were quoted ~$800 for a full height (to the ceiling) divider from Bloomer.
I couldn't imagine not having my full divider. I don't haul babies or studs, but I do haul a lot of supplies up there and I like knowing that I have a full divider to keep stuff from slipping under. |

Location: College Station, TX | I found a dealer that had a used trailer the same as mine for sale with a factory stud wall in it and they agreed to sell me their divider with the stud wall if I left them my divider to replace it. I paid $500. Might have been too much, I have no clue but I had to have it so I didn't care. Might try going that route? |

they can weld the brackets to your current divider to attach lower protion to make it stud divider. I was just looking at a new trailer that didnt have stud and thats what they said they do |

I'm thinking I want to make some walls out of plywood in the first stall so I can drill into that and hang everything. That way it will function more like a real mid tack. But, I definitely want the lower half of the divider to be a legitimate stud wall so I don't have any safety issues like that. |

I would call the manufacturer of your trailer. They will have a removable bottom panel that will be made to fit that particular brand trailer. |
