| Justice Scalia died today at 79. Thank you Sir for your service to this country. You will truly be missed. Sadly with your passing I am afraid so does our Constitution.

So far they've been a dissappointment, even though they hold a majority in both houses. That's why a guy like Trump is leading in the polls. |

Trump would be the last one I want picking the Next Justice period. |

Until now, I would have said that the chances of a constituional convention were pretty slim. If Obama gets a third appointee to the Supreme Court, it will be necessary within 5 years.
Honestly, Jim, I have a very hard time seeing that happen. |

The Supreme Court has nothing to do with the appointment of the next Justice. The President nominates and the Senate confirms. The court however can choose not to decide a case until there is a full court. |

The Supreme Court has nothing to do with the appointment of the next Justice. The President nominates and the Senate confirms. The court however can choose not to decide a case until there is a full court.
And 'that' would be the most honorable thing to do.................However over the last 7+ years, SCOTUS has not acted with just a whole lot of honor.

Which with the aligning current events, Civil War II could well be shaping up via viewing everything in a Historical Perspective.
