He managed to attend the funeral of the former grand cyclops of the KKK, William Byrd, but neither of them have the time to attend the funeral of one of the most widely respected and influential members in the history of the U.S. Supreme Court. I'm ashamed of this bastard.

The word on the street is the racist Loretta Lynch. Sure would finish off having the three stooges as his picks on the Supreme Court.
He's a disrespectful racist POS.
RIP Judge Scalia. |

I agree, and for the record, I think Justice Scalia was murdered, yep.. I said it. Should have been more of an investigation into his death, not just sign off without even seeing the body then embalm him, JMO. |

I wonder why they refused. I had heard they refused but was hoping they gave a reason. |

Location: Florida.. | I am quite certain the government got to them... Possibly saying it will cause chaos and be in best interest..
Does anyone know if the family were close? Meaning is this something that they would fight for if they suspected or just be ok with whatever the government or Dr said.. IM sure they are in shock so might have just went along with what they suggested not thinking clearly

I have never liked him. He may have a good reason for not attending he may not, but how typical if he does have a valid reason to not give that reason just to create more political divide. Just once again goes to show the "great uniter" is nothing more than a pot stirring, game playing community activist. |

| Michelle Bachman was interviewed on Fox and actually said she thinks Obama wants to be president for life and will use this to accomplish it. Seriously, I don't know how, exactly. But then again, its hard to get shocked by anything these politicians say these days. |

Location: Do I hear Banjos? | So he couldn't manage to attend the funeral of Margaret Thatcher...Can't be bothered to attend the funeral for Justice Scalia...but he made sure to attend Nelson Mandela's funeral...Hmmm...one of these things is not like the other.... A racist arrogant lop eared varmint indeed.
And when asked about why he would not be attending one reporter even asked point blank if Obozo would be golfing Saturday...his mouthpiece dodged the question naturally.
He likely fears that he will burst into flames if he crosses the threshold of the basilica. |

Seriously....do you really think a murderer would leave the pillow over his head???? I sleep with a pillow (and blankets) over my head. I guess if I die, they can accuse my husband of killing me....lol... Additionally, he had been to the Dr. TWICE that week with not "feeling well".....he left the gathering that night because he wasn't feeling WELL....IMO, the family did not ask for an autopsy because he HAD health problems.
Some people just need "tin foil" hats........ |

Location: Colorado | Thank you NJJ. Justice Scalia was 79, overweight and smoked. With a history of High BLOOD PRESSURE.
And the President and First Lady ARE attending Friday and the VP and Dr. Biden are attending on Sat.
Instead of blaming one person for every problem in this country we should look at those who purposely spread mis information.

Location: Bastrop, Texas | I'm not spreading " misinformation". I simply think it is entirely appropriate to expect an autopsy to be performed because we do not know the cause of a sudden, unexpected death in one of the most consequential Justices in Supreme Court history. This was a very important, powerful man who led a pretty vigorous life, for his age. He had been out hunting. Pronouncing him dead over the phone is one thing, but having a coroner examine the body at the scene and then ordering an autopsy should have been automatic. There is a whole host of causes of death that cannot be determined by simply looking at the body on a bed, some of which are not natural. This is what a coroner is for.
If an autopsy is ordered by a coroner, for whatever reason, then the family has no say in the matter.
Nope....no tin hats here. I just want the truth and it makes sense to do the right and logical thing, given these circumstances, particularly in this day and age where suspicion and conspiracy theories rule the day. |
