Does anyone know much about him? I've seen that Judd Little has a couple nice horses by him, but I was wondering if anyone else had experience with them? What what are the resale value's like on his babies? I also don't know much about his sire's side, Killian Pacific. Would consider him to breed to if I knew more about him!

Killian Pacific was very well known back in the day, a winner himself who produced a bunch of winners. I had a mare by him that was very talented, but coon footed.  I've seen others that were by him or grandbabies that were also coon footed, and have heard he did tend to throw them.  Other than that, I don't know anything negative.   Flit to Kill has been an underrated producer IMO, but is probably more known in MS than anywhere else.   I think Jud's daughter won a bunch at pro rodeos on a FTK mare a few years ago.

The fillies can have tempers and they tend to be on the small size from my experience. They make some nice horses once you get through the temper tantrums

Killian Pacific placed 3rd in the NFR earning over $200,000 in barrel racing during his career. He was AAA and was the 1983 AQHA Sr champion.
I watched his futurity year and eventually bred a mare to him. That baby went on to do great things.

Flit To Kill is my all time favorite sire. I have had about 5/6 of his fillies. They are so athletic and easy to train, naturals. They can be on the edgie nervous side depending on how they are bred on the bottom. I would say they mature a bit too late for futurities but again that depends on the dams side.

Here is the last one I trained.

We have a registered black 4 YO gelding that is out of an Appendix Bully Bullion mare. He is a late baby born on May 2. We bought him as a 2 YO. He is on the tall side at 16H.

He is so personable, athletic, with a great work ethic and has been very easy to train.  He is a little more of a 'later bloomer' than other colts we have had. But he has all the ability and speed to make a super nice horse. He definitely gets up, but I wouldn't say nervous. He has a really nice style around the barrels.

With his personality and looks, we get a lot compliments on him all the time. He has a presence about him. He loves to play and interact with people. With other horses, he has to be the leader.

We look forward to showing him this summer and the Fall futurities.

I've never had one myself, but I'm pretty impressed with him. Been trying to talk my bank account into letting me afford to buy some of his owner's broodmares in foal to him, but the bank account disagrees. haha

i have a Flit to Kill grand dtr.... Reg name is FLIT AFLAMIN

she is out of Randy Dubose stud Flits First Fling there in MS...

her dam is a dtr of Flaming Jet and ran on the track...

i got my mare as a 4yo, she is currently 9yo and fixing to have her first foal any day now by Streaking Ta Fame...

YES, I agree w above poster, she was a late bloomer and can get on the nervous side....

we have had our ups n downs, but she has been my kids 4H halter, showmanship and all around horse, and placed and acted very well with my little kids....

she is very punchy and an overachiever, whatever u want she does quick and fast, lots of run to her...easy to teach bc she is not lazy

she is protective to of me lol, she wants all the attention when my kids are around.

she is solid sorrel, crazy thick and long tail, probably 14.2

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

we also had a half brother, same stud but he was Some Dasher bred on bottom side, sold him as a 2yo, his confirmation wasnt as good and he was lazy, his reg name was FLITS FIRST DASHER

I have an own daughter. She is 6 this year and is one of the smartest horses I have ever ridden. She has been really easy to train and is not hot at all. Really hunts the barrels.

I raised 2 fillies by him. The first thing I want to say is that his owners were excellent to work with. Went out of their way to help me get my mares bred when I was new to breeding and didn't have much knowledge. We started both of our fillies, but only had a handful of rides on them before they sold. Both went to the barrel pattern as 3 year olds and were being entered at 4. I've lost touch with them, so I can't say what they're doing now. Both were friendly and sensible. One was out of a Doc O'Lena/BA75 mare, the other out of a Colonel Hotrodder daughter. They were both easy to start, but I would say that the DOL/BA75 was maybe a little more reactive. They were both very responsive and not lazy, which I could maybe see being considered as hot.

I had a mare by him, she was tough and gritty. She was on the small side, but made up for it in attitude. I would own a million more like her, unfortunately I lost her 2 years ago to colic.

I love Pacific Bailey horses though, they are one of my all time favorites.

Would Flit to Kill bred to alot of run on the bottom side be too much run?  Would he breed better to a cowbred mare?

I just bought a mare off Janet Stover that is a grandaughter of FTK, Randy Dubose had this mare prior. I so have to go look at her papers and see if her sire is same as yours. My mare dam is daughter of Power Train. Just got her 3 weeks ago  she is sooooooo calm!!!

She just foaled out her first baby right at 3 months ago, so i am legging her back up for my kids to run.....

*****Personaly, i think my mare should have been a race horse, then turned barrel horse like her daddy Uno... She can flat out fly and loves to run, run, run

The filly she just had is by Streaking Ta Fame

Since I own and love Flit To Kill sooooo much thank you for your comment on him. What the devil is "Coon Footed". Well you have told me something I didn't know. My mother has always taught me that if you can't say something good about someone or something, then keep your mouth shut. You could have been courteous and have PM'd the lady. Nice to meet you over social media. Thanks

Hi Julie: Thanks for all the good things you have said thru the years about my Flit To Kill. You have owned many and done well on all of them. He is now 24 so don't know how much longer he will be around. His semen was great this year and shipped well. We hope he will be standing next year to the public. Thanks again.
