I will be breeding a mare for a barrel prospect and am interested in what everyone would suggest. You can see her breeding here: http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/cashin+outcome The mare is bigger, nice build, but has a very short back.I would like a stud that throws some run and try into his babies but I want something that is reasonably priced; $1500 is probably the top price I am going to have to spend on a stud fee. I realize there's lots of very nice studs out there for higher prices, however, that is all I have to work with. Thanks for everyone's inputs :)

check out ours! Fames French Ryan. Own son of Dash ta Fame, out of a daughter of Frenchmans Guy, 2nd dam Stakes producing daughter of Bully Bullion. Put together correct and wonderful work ethic. paid up in several incentives so far, and more when foals come of age. This is his introductory year, so only 1250 AI only.

I have seen Lynettes ^^^ stallion and boy is he nice and will be one to watch for. full siblings down south tearing it up. You could cross just about anything on this mare, a DTF may produce more run than a Frenchmans Guy so it all depends. I love Ninety Nine Goldmine, hes said to be the frenchmans guy of canada! Hes only like 1300 US funds. I also have a colt coming by Tres Kings and im really excited about that one! Joleen Hales stands him. Some others id consider-
First Down French
Guys Fame (LOVE, ive seen him in person, WOW his photos dont do him justice and we love our colt by him)
Smoke N Sparks (hes getting older, idk how much longer he'll be around)
Firewater Finale

just to name a few! they are out there, im the absolute worst at potential crosses, i still havent picked who im going to breed to this year

Without seeing your mare its not really fair to make a suggestion. I think we all have ones we really like and or believe in but not all stallions are good crosses on all mares, actually very few are. The mare plays a huge part when stallion shopping. What are your mares weakness, what do you like about her, what are you looking for in a foal? There are a lot of great stallions out there to chose from.

I'll step up and second Stoli My Heart. I'm loving my 3 week old filly by him, and his babies seem to be doing well in the arena!

Thank you all for your suggestions those all sound like really nice studs and I am sure one of them will be exactly what I am looking for.

As I stated above I am wanting to have speed and lots of try in a foal, I like to run bigger horses but because this mare already has size I am not worried about getting a big stud I mostly want to focus on run and try.

Ones I have had personal experience with are Guys Piece Ofthe Pie, currently competing and in the 1D and his first baby to be old enough to compete was a multiple 1D money earner and Futurity money earner. He is Future Fortunes and stands for $1000.

The other is Firewater Finale. Love him and my 3 yr old by him. Great attitude and athletic. Finale is very proven in the arena and has some winners from the foal crops old enough to compete. I think he is $1000 as well

I would for sure look into Lions Share of Fame. His babies have been doing very well this year at the futurities and he was awesome as well! I am hoping they bring him out of retirement. I am also hoping I get to breed a mare to him in the near future,

A daughter of KiptyDoo produced Kipts Fancy...when Kiptys Fancy was bred to the son of Go Man Go, Mr. Meyers...it produced Miss Fancy Meyers. Miss Fancy Meyers had AAA speed and won just a tad under 100K in the 70's in QH racing!!! 2 of Miss Fancy Meyers foals were outstanding runners and producers, Hemp Meyers and Mr Fancy Jet. Hemp Meyers was by Hempen (TB) and Mr. Fancy Jet was by Easy Jet.

KiptyDoo was the horse that really stood out in your mares tail line for me.

A little more history, the stallion Hemp Meyers best runner was out of an Easy Jet mare.

Also, Mr. Meyers, the sire of Miss Fancy Meyers produced Becky Meyers and when crossed with Easy Jet produced Becky Meyers Jet. Becky Meyers Jet was the dam of Lil Easy Cash, Lil Easy Cash sire 2 NFR barrel horses from a crop that went to the track 98% of the time.

So if genetics if true the magic cross for KiptyDoo was in a way Easy Jet. I would possibly try to seek out cross to Pie In The Sky (Easy Jet), for marketability and the fact that you mares tail line should produce some speed when crossed with Easy Jet lineage. I would possibly look for Lady Bugs Moon to be in the pedigree of the Easy Jet you find....Lady Bugs Moon was the tail of First Down Dash....you have two crosses to DFC on this mares papers, I would certainly look for Lady Bugs Moon to add to the mix.

Also, if you look at the top side of your mare she is Noholme through The Signature, the magic cross on The Signature was GO MAN GO mares, Heza Fast Man and Rare Form were both out of mares with a tail line to Go Man Go. Also Noholme produce Away From Holme, which produced Holme At Last. Holme At Last's female tail line is Go Man Go.

This brings you back to Mr. Meyers. He is by Go Man Go.

So if it is possible to find a stallion with Easy Jet, Go Man Go, and Lady Bugs Moon in his pedigree....I think you will have you a very nice prospect, atleast the papers will ride good :)

I have a Stoli My Heart baby coming in about 1.5 months, I'm very excited about that baby.

I have a yearling by Howelling Corona. His fee is $750 this year, plus $250 to ship. Don't forget to add in shipping and vet costs to your budget. He is a very nice freshman stallion if you are interested in going that route.

Here is my yearling. Very smart, very sweet, and loves people. Here are some pics of him. Please excuse his big belly... he's currently on a diet, ha! http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/hundred+proof+hank

Royal and Famous is a 1D stallion. Ran the fastest time of the OKC Derby Finals 2014. Kelly's Chick 2014 NFR qualifier and Stoli My Guy whom needs no introduction are both breeding to Royal and Famous in 2015. He placed in the 1D at Waco at the ANHA and Jud Little Barrel Bash. Roy recently was 2nd at his first pro rodeo only Andria Cline on Moses bested us by a tenth. His dam Go Royal Scarlett LTE $300,000+3 time NFR qualifier has produced the horse that won the semi-finals qualifier at Mesquite and set the new arena record at OKC Derby with a 14.8. Royal Star Commander ridden by Erin Ricotti. His full sister was on the cover of Barrel Horse News last year as well Famous Scarlett. His sire is Dash Ta Fame. He would be a clear choice for your breeding program for 2015! Top 40 at the 2014 qualifier in Glen Rose outrunning the likes of The Red Dasher and JL Dash Ta Heaven.
This is two videos, the second was the fastest time of the derby finals agains some SUPER tough horses.

In Utah....look at PC Lock n Frost and Pappasito. Research them both. There's JB Proud and Famous too. Outside of Utah you'll pay shipping fees, collection fees, etc. My rule of thumb is don't ship too far, but if you do, go big or go home.

Which takes you to A Streak Of Fling!   Who is out of the op's price range but he does have some very good son's standing that are in the price range. ?

Also, people need to remimber the OP's mare is already double  Dash For Cash.
