We have had about 10 inches of rain and some areas have had as much as 20 inches. There are emergency evacuations where people have not even been able to take their pets. Several people have lost horses and other stock. Classicpotatochip woke up to a swollen pond and a nearly flooded travel trailer -- she was able to move it. Her animals are all safe I think. I live on a high hill so I am good but others are not so lucky. Please keep all these people in your prayers.

I was wondering about that. I noticed about 3 days ago it was raining pretty hard there and I battened everything down expecting it to move across to SE Louisiana...... and it ain't moved an inch in 3 days. The wind here has been wild as it is sucked toward that storm. Prayers to the people there.

Most of Bossier Parish has been evacuated, Most of Caddo Lake and most of Kilgore. These are emergency evacuations so people do not have time to get much.

We got 10 inches over the last 3 days. Several schools cancelled today. Creeks are swollen and over a few roads, but all and all not too bad here.

I'm in southeast Arkansas and we have gotten over 13" since Tuesday night and it's still raining. Schools all cancelled, roads are flooded, and we can't leave our place because the bayou is over our driveway and it's DEEP. Our house and barn are high and dry, thankfully, although half the pasture is now part of the pond and there were ducks swimming behind the house. I've lived here my whole life and seen flooding before, but this is the worst I've experienced. The weather peeps predicted 3-5" for us...didn't realize I needed to make a milk, and horse and dog feed run. I just hope our driveway doesn't wash out and leave us stranded here for an extended period. We built it in 2009 and it's never been close to going under before now.

My thoughts and prayers are with everyone experiencing these torrential rains and flooding.   We are certainly flooded, but nothing like those in LA and AR.

We are in Sabine Parish. We live on high ground but the areas around us are flooding. Some of my family members cannot get to their cattle in Nachitoches Parish. Others are loading them and moving to higher ground. Its getting quite scetchy! I am praying for everyone. I will leave work early to ensure I can get home. I am supposed to leave for Diamonds and Dirt tomorrow, I am hoping the route there will be open and safe.

Parts of I-20 in Texas is closed due to water on interstate.  Check Texas DTOT road conditions.  If you can get to I-30 you may be ok.

Yep, I am right down the road from Streakysox and some people have lost everything from stock to electricity. Thankful we are up on a hill, also. Thank everyone for the prayers. We still have a couple of days of continued rain and it has nowhere to go!

I saw where 165 between Bastrop and Sterlington was so deep, it was halfway up some big trucks and drivers were rescued.  And it's still raining.

I saw that too T4L.  You guys try to stay safe.  This is terrifying for so many and my thoughts and prayers are with all having to endure all of the flooding!

My parents' house flooded tonight. My barn had 10 inches of water in it flowing like a small river at 8 this am. One horse standing in water but he's gonna be boated out this morning. The other four are on the pond levees thank goodness. Water over the dually headlights by my house. Got some friends that are going to boat in this morning to help my bf feed and move Lynn out of the water. I've lived on this road since 1977 and have never seen anything like it. My parents are just distraught, but I am trying to keep my chin up and remind them that it's just a house and can be fixed and/or replaced. Thank God no one hurt or worse. Prayers for everyone affected by this and for it to clear out quickly and recede even quicker. . .
