I'm looking at a 4 year old gelding by him, only had two outs on the track and is lightly started on the pattern. I would like to know what you all think about them.
Thanks! |

Thank you. He's out of a Strawfly Special/Hempen mare. Seems very well mannered. |

Location: oklahoma | I love mine! He is off the track with a 98si. He is so laid back, has a great mind, very trainable, very smart, quick learner actually too smart, show him once and he has it. He is making a nice barrel horse at this point but we still have a long ways to go. I would take a barn full of them. He is an carbon copy of Heza Fast Dash as far as looks. |

No commitment to the turn. There are so many other breeds that are so much more proven as a barrel horse than Heza Fast Dash. |

Can you explain what you mean by commitment to a turn? |

| I own one and he is awesome! Very willing and eager to please. And unlike what others have said mine is ratey. So I don't believe one should stereotype the breed for not committing to the turn when there are ones that do. |

Thank you! I'm picking this one up this weekend and I'm really excited about him. I like his look and his good nature. He's only 4 so I think he'll make something extremely nice. |

| We have a colt out of a daughter of Hemp Meyers...talk about a work horse...he worked a 12.39 at 220y first time out the gate just breezing him not asking for anything...we are prepping him for the Laddie trials...Nothing funny about him, he is all business and drop dead gorgeous confirmation. We are crossing out fingers he runs well.... I have not been on one for the barrels however...
