Location: Texas Big Country | If you were picking a well bred stud just on the basis of being quiet, gentle, willing and good try, tell me your personal favorites please? Also please list an approximate stud fee and if you are really in a great mood, I would love to hear sale values and testimony stories on the foals. Thanks! |

Location: Texas | The kindness and willingness of a stud has nothing to do with what they will produce. Some of the most influential studs are aggressive and sorta mean. People can disagree all they want but I have first hand knowledge of many producing studs and their studly attitudes do not pass to their colts. Now if you had asked what temperament studs pass to their colts that is a valid question. Not trying to call anyone out I'm just clarifying. |

So what stallions in your experience have produced consistantly good minded colts? and stud fees? I know you ride a lot of super colts and would really value your opinion on this. Thank you for responding. The mare is by a stud that was a son of bully bullion, out of a shawne bug daughter. the dam of the mare is by Runnerelse.

Location: Texas | Royal and Famous is a 1D stallion. Ran the fastest time of the OKC Derby Finals 2014. Kelly's Chick 2014 NFR qualifiers and Stoli My Guy whom needs no introduction are both breeding to Royal and Famous in 2015. He placed in the 1D at Waco at the ANHA and Jud Little Barrel Bash. Roy recently was 2nd at his first pro rodeo only Andria Cline on Moses bested us by a tenth. His dam Go Royal Scarlett LTE $300,000+3 time NFR qualifier has produced the horse that won the semi-finals qualifier at Mesquite and set the new arena record at OKC Derby with a 14.8. Royal Star Commander ridden by Erin Ricotti. His full sister was on the cover of Barrel Horse News last year as well Famous Scarlett. His sire is Dash Ta Fame. He would be a clear choice for your breeding program for 2015! Top 40 at the 2014 qualifier in Glen Rose outrunning the likes of The Red Dasher and JL Dash Ta Heaven.
This is two videos, the second was the fastest time of the derby finals agains some SUPER tough horses.

Firewater Frost is $1,000 and he is a good minded dude, still competing and has produced a number of good horses. |

| Nonstop Firewater any day of the week. Can't find a better minded, or better looking stud out there. He is a proven producer with multiple NFR qualifers. His foals are all super smart and hard working. At 19 years young, he is still just a young guy at heart and loves people. A total gentleman, even with in heat mares around and surrounded by other angsty studs. We stand by him so much that we have a mare being bred to him right now. $1,250 stud fee. |

Location: Texas Big Country | Thank you MolliB. THis (Royal and Famous) might be a really good cross on her. Will follow up on this. I have a half sister to my mare (both out of the Runnerelse mare) by AR Star, so I have followed Royal Star Commander as well. These stats are just what I was looking for backed up by good mind. I deeply appreciate you taking time to look this up and post. Blessings and Happy Easter!
Thanks so much all for replys and I will look at every one I promise. SK

I have to second ElScorcho. Herbie on here has 2 of them and they are both really nice individuals. Quiet and willing to please.
I have a yearling stud colt by El Scorcho out of a First To Shine mare. He is exceptionally quiet and very willing. Everything including hauling him and treating his eye goop has been a breeze. He ties and stands better on the trailer than my seasoned horse. He's very smart... Show him once and he had it. I couldn't be more pleased with his temperament.
Scorchos owner is a friend of mine. I've ridden him and been around him at home and a barrel race. He's very quiet. He stood between two mares all day and was taking a nap next to the arena. I think he's a great value.
I don't ride a wide array of horses so I really can't comment on many other studs. |

Location: God's country...aka TEXAS | FIREWATER TA FAME!!!! I have 3 colts by him and he is the only stud I will breed to. Not saying others aren't great, but his offspring fit my program the best. His babies are freaks of nature- they are literally born acting like broke horses. No silliness or spook what so ever! They take everything so great and are extremely athletic. I can't say enough good things about him. Stud fee is $2500. |

Firewater Ta Fame was #1 on my list but I knew I could not afford him yet. Maybe next year. I LOVE the Sail On Bunny on the bottom female. He is truly a wonderful horse. Thanks! |

Location: IL | I highly suggest you check out RB Bully InaSmallTown (aka Vinny), I raised him and he now stands in Tyler, TX at RB Halter and Performance Horses. Melanie is fabulous to work with there! They have other stallions as well, but I personally know this guy is as sweet as pie and super laid back. Check him out http://www.rbperformancehorses.com/rb-bully-inasmalltown
Good luck to you! :)
Edit- Just realized your mare is already Bully Bullion bred! Oops! Sorry about that.... Be sure to give Melanie a call though and check on the other stallions she is currently standing :)
