Just a fun, light heart thread! Who are your favorite barrel racers out there? They can be top pro girls (or boys) or just a local rider. No negativity here please.
I personally have three; Charmayne James, Danyelle Campbell, and Kendra Dickson.

Charmayne always seems to be level headed but not afraid to go against the mold (maybe because she WAS the mold for quite some time). What I mean is she isn't afraid to use curb bits on her horses and other bits that aren't typically used on a barrel horse. She always seems to explain things very well and clearly, easy to understand.
Danyelle, I am in love with her attitude! Watching her videos on TrainingBarrelHorses.com makes me laugh because she can laugh at herself! She reminds me that barrel racing is supposed to be fun.
Lastly, Kendra. Like Danyelle, she has a great attitude and seems very bubbly with people and horses. She also explains things very well in her videos and has great style too without being too out there.

I could probably go on about these ladies and more people out there but let's not get too crazy haha.

Brittany Pozzi- Its hard for me to find the words to describe her. I typically use "rank". She can ride ANYTHING, any age, any situation, futurity, rodeo, jackpot, whatever and she excels at all! She is one heck of a trainer/jockey and will not back down from a risk.

I like Jackie Jatzlau also- cause I mean, she is the WILD CHILD.

Team McLeod- Cause they are short (like me), sweet, humble, positive, and TALENTED!

Taylor Jacob - I enjoy her riding style and try to take a page from her book.

I have recently come to admire Dustin Angelle- He had such a great attitude throught the American, and after following his FB I can see that is something he applies in all aspects of his training.

Course these are just a few off the top of my head.

Personally, I love watching the youths and the seniors.  Both  inspire me to get off my rear and try.

Cervi
Fallon
and a few little local girls here in Marana are my favs.

I"m not sure I have a favorite barrel racer, mine is more of favorite teams.
Lisa and Louie
Lindsay and Martha
Fallon and BabyFlo
Kelly Kaminski and Rocky
Watching each of those teams simply coming up the alley at the T&M always made me tear up a little. Lisa and Louie always look like they are just going to the office, Lindsay and Martha with that nose cocked just a tad always seemed like Lindsay was saying "okay, lets do this." and Martha saying "say when!" I love Fallon's expression as she is headed home, knocked barrel or scortching run her face says "THAT was fun! Thank you Flo!". Kelly and Rocky had a bit of the same as Lisa and Louie to them, just another day at the office..you know, winning world titles, check.

Sherry Cervi is my favorite. She was competing at a local race and watching her was interesting. I gained a lot of respect. She is quiet but very professional. Her youtube videos are great.

Jackie Jatzlau has been my favorite since I was a little kid, when she was qualifying for her first NFR.
Really love Lisa Lockhart because shes just an all around great person.
Sherry Cervi, Jolene Montgomery, Molli Montgomery, Latricia Duke, Mark Bugni, Ryann Pedone to name a few. Let me think and I can probably list a whole paragraph more lol

This ^^.  I have to add our local Jan Powell, an NFR qualifier and gifted trainer/coach.  She can ride your horse and in minutes tell you what you need to do/know and can communicate it in a way you understand.

Ashley Shaefer- I really like how quiet she rides and the end product of her training program.

Andre Coelho- he recently came to CO from Brazil. It's been interesting for me to watch him with his colts. He treats each one different and you don't see that much. He has really quiet hands for a man and doesn't muscle one. I know Fallon came to him for a lesson last summer if that tells you anything.

Kay Young - She might be the best trainer around. Seems like others are always taking credit for her work which is why she doesn't get the recognition she truly deserves. The woman is a hand and can turn a bad horse around unlike any other.

Ashley gave me a little tutoring last summer. Wouldn't mind getting more. Wouldn't mind taking a clinic with Lisa either. :)
