Location: SW North Dakota | Can anyone help with ideas for cool, but inexpensive ideas for 2nd and third place prizes for our upcoming Junior High Rodeo (6-8th graders). Useable items would be awesome, and as late as it is, I'm thinking something that preferably has a hard surface to place a trophy "sticker" rather than embroidery, etc. Second $30-40 Third $20 max (maybe over the rail plastic feed tubs with a couple brushes)?
It's a 2 day rodeo, 15 prizes per day (30 each, and they don't have to be the same for each day)
Our committee's rodeo is April 30- May 1... and I just found out that our last years' prize lady (who was a miracle worker) has stepped down.
PLEASE shoot me your ideas, I am feeling desparate! |

If I can find a cool prize in my price limit, especially if it's customized and can have 30 pieces in my mailbox by April 29th, I'm interested!!! |

I was thinking about a nice 5 gallon flat backed bucket with a good brush (like an Oster mane & tail brush) for third place. Then just have to local print shop make some trophy "buckle" stickers for the buckets. |

Good job! We did dufflebags for 2nd last year and cool custom keychains that were donated for 3rd.
I will see what I can learn from State line! |

Location: mi | Since your talking youth kids. I have a friend that works selling promotional items. What about a selfie stick. I think she quoted me like $15 bucks for them with our club logo on them. Not sure if there would be rush fees or what not but if you want her info I can hook you up with her. |

Location: Southeast Louisiana | Shavings, or gift certificates for shavings. I got a saddle pal once (small, portable saddle rack that you hang on the front of a stall) that I use the heck out of, I love that thing. I think they're not too expensive. Leather saddle cross customized with the name of the award. ...can't think of anything else right now that hasn't already been mentioned. |

PLEASE shoot me your ideas, I am feeling desparate! I'll donate 30 syringes of THElectrolytes. It is an electrolyte syringe. THElectrolyte contains 82 minerals and trace elements essential to the body’s health and well being. THElectrolyte produces significant positive effects on organs, respiration, circulation, connective tissue, nervous system functions, and causes rapid re-hydration at the cellular level. Excellent for tying up, as well as hot weather or just everyday hydration

That was going to be my suggestion. Our NBHA district gave the yeti tumblers. You also have the new "knock off" tumbler made by Ozark as an option. Side by side comparisons have shown it to be equal to Yeti, and about half the price. You can get them at Walmart. Will there be a photog present? I've won gift certificates for photos before. That's always appreciated! Especially if the photographer offers things like custom phone cases. |

Location: SW North Dakota | Holy CATS! Great ideas and very generous offers! In years past, sponsors have been easy to come by with the busy oilfield businesses in the area. With the slow-down, we've lost 45% of our sponsors, so we're pounding the pavement.
I will return and send some PM's. You guys have helped me out of a huge jam and I REALLY appreciate it!!! |

Location: Wonderful Wyoming | I like to help the kids out! I know when I competed as a kid, the prizes were so fun but sometimes just not something useful. Buckets with brushes, maybe bucket hangers and mane detangler etc are sure fun. |
