With God all things are possible

| BLESSED morning friends. As you journey through another day, the Lord has an encouraging word for you. He ALWAYS does! This is why it is important to have a daily devotional time with Him. I have often found myself wrung out and in need of a special infusion of the Lord's presence.
ALL of us are in the battlefields of life. Our challenge is to live up to all Christ is in us rather than down to a world lost in their trespasses and sin.
Last night driving to a barrel race, I was listening to a message by Mike Morrison. And he was speaking of worry, envy and strife.
How our minds get thoughts of all of these. How we can change the course of our mind, speaking the Word of God to block the curse and have a blessing. James 3:16 for where you have envy and selfish ambition , there you find disorder and every evil practice.
When we worry , have envy and strife, and speak of it with our mouth, we block the blessing God has intended for us. James 3: 5 likewise the tongue is a small part of the body, but it makes great boasts. V9 with the tongue, we praise our Lord and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in God's likeness. V10 Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing. My brothers , this should not be.
When we worry we basically praise the devil, we block the blessing God has intended for we don't show our trust or faith. Even more so when we speak with our tongue the worry from our mind.
I know we don't think of theses things in this way, but doesn't it make perfect sense? We have these worry thoughts and focus on what, when and how to solve, when all we have to do is speak to it in the name of Jesus to be removed. Think about it has worry ever changed or made your circumstance better? NO!! Philippians 4:13 I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST WHO STRENTHENS ME. YES!!
When we turn our attention to Christ and away from the worry, circumstances, WE RECEIVE STRENGTH!
Our contentment doesn't rest in just denying the worry, envy or strife. Our contentment and peace flows from our TRUST in Christ.
It draws you deeper into the Lord's will, the blessing he has for you in every breath you take. Claim the words of Jesus as your own: Peace I leave with you, My peace I give you; not as the world gives do I give you. Let your heart not be troubled, neither let it be afraid. John 14:27. The peace that Jesus gives is the " peace of God, which surpasses all understanding". A peace that " will,guard your hearts and minds Philipians 4:7
Are you worried, frustrated, restless today? Above all else, say to The Lord, I need for You to settle me and to give me You peace. Then look for Him to fill your heart with His presence.
For it is WITH God all things are possible
Father , guide me today to do all things that bring glory and honor to You. AMEN!
