That is what I thought. And now it was posted that she was located in LA? It is possible that the seller bought it from the KY people and just used the pic? Maybe? |

Hmmmmmmmm....... good to know. I'm always leary because I bought a horse off of here years ago from people who used to post a lot for sale and the horse was completely misrepresented. But, they were from Alabama. It was a young horse so, luckily I wasn't out a lot of money but, still sucked.

| Yes, from KY but I didn't purchase from them. I purchase from a guy in Texas, and he used her old pictures. We've got her picked up and she is what she was represented as...we are happy. But again, I didn't buy her from KY, the guy I purchased her from did. He bought her as a brood mare prospect but didn't end up breeding her. I'll ride her next week, after she has time to settle and I'll update y'all on how she does. As of now she is moving really sound and looks great. If something happens we will breed her. It'll be ok for 3k either way.

Did you, by chance, buy the leggy bay gelding from the people in Alabama? Maybe 7-8 years ago? Wrangler something?? if you did, I think you saved me some trouble. He was a looker and I have wondered where he ended up. |

No. I bought a then 4 y/o dun horse that was out of a Jet's Pay Day mare. It was said to have been broke for a year and anyone could ride. Got it home and it had MAYBE been sat on but that's about it. Threatened to buck if you did anything past a walk. I sent it out to a colt starter and then sold it. Wasn't far enough along for me at the time. But, it ended up being quite a nice barrel horse that placed at some pro rodeos. |
