... the toe clips on the back feet?? Or.... the MOST impressive 4-nail pattern I've not seen since Bud Beaston? I honestly believe the farrier should get just as much accreditation as the owner, breeder, trainer and rider.... No feet. No horse!!

Looks like Ray (Junior's) Amato's work.
Most may not know but a lot of race horses are shod the morning of the race.
It played a huge part in the race. I was behind Steve's horse today, poor Gun Runner just faded...

What a world we live in, when the internet allows Experts to criticize the shoe job of an undefeated $4M earning Derby winner's shoe job. Let's all pray the connections somehow manage to see this post and change their ways, maybe they can start a poll about what kind of bit to run him in next and if they should ask a psychic to analyze the colt and see if he wants a new color of lead rope

I thought he was being complimentary.

Me too.  Ithought it was a compliment as well.  It's a beautiful shoe job. I wish I could find someone to do that great of a job.

Re read what was posted. No criticism at all. It would be nice to hear who shoes these horses. Being that their feet are the foundation for everything.

Whoa now, you really need to reread the post, there was not a thing said that was negative, he was praising the farriers work.
But a psychic would be cool I would love to hear what this colt would say about being a great winner

Thanks for pointing that out, I would not have noticed, and yes you are right, the farriers do not get enough credit! Thanks for posting

He did not edit it. I read it not too long after he posted it. No one had commented yet.
My bad, shows he did edit it, but I guarantee he did not change his meaning, Komet always stands by what he posts- whether it's popular or not.

Agree wholeheartedly about Komet owning what he says!!!!

What did it say before he changed it, Vanessa, that wasn't positive?? (Just curious)

I've been a fan for years but never noticed one of those either.  Looks handy.
