| Last year I decided to breed one of my good mares so I could focus on my young ones. Well on Saturday (Kentucky Derby day!) she had a colt! I am so absolutely thrilled with him and how she looks and is as a mom, that now I'm wanting to breed her again!
So it's a 2-part question....
1. I need name suggestions! Firewater Canyon is his daddy. He appears a chestnut color, but his legs have a silver look to them. I'm thinking he may gray.
2. Who should I cross her with next? I love her build, the only thing I'd say is that I wouldn't mind something a little smaller (She's 16 hands). I'd like something that throws good minds (not fragile) and running bred.
Here is her pedigree: www.allbreedpedigree.com/magnolia+jets+kiss

I agree any fire water flit stud you like is a good option. Depending on your price range
Firewaterontherocks
Firewater Ta fame
Firewater Finale
If you want something a little different maybe French StreaktoVegas. He isnt very big but definately full of power. If you have the funds I would suggest Blazin Jetolena. I cant really think of anything else right now. As far as running bred, I cant really think of anything not really tall? Maybe others can be of more help in that area. |

| Small studs with good minds, the first one who comes to mind is Slick By Design. |

I agree! He's such an awesome looking stud with great breeding! And this year is my first time breeding by AI, on a maiden mare too, and Amy has been so awesome to work with! |
