What's your favorite reasonably priced horse fencing? And are there other options for horses who push thru electric (other than metal panels)? I'm currently looking for new fencing options but I have one that likes to test my electric every once in a while.

If they are that disrespectful of the electric fence, get a stronger charger!  If they get the crap zapped out of them enough times, they will learn to STAY OFF OF IT!

We used t-post then cover with 2" PVC and caps for a safer, cleaner look. Then, use the electric rope fencing. If you have a brave one...just get a bigger charger. You'll want to look at the joules output.

We used RAMM hotcote fencing with PVC fence posts that already had the holes bored in them for the wire. So we didn't have to spend extra money on insulators and it looks great. Our horses are very respectful of the fence too, which keeps it looking great :)

I'll have to get out and take pictures. I think we took pictures while we were building it, but not of the finished product. "Plastic Innovations- Timeless fencing" is the name of the company we ordered the posts from. They were very easy to work with and were reasonably priced.

We have four strands of Electrobraid and an AC fence charger strong enough to curl your hair.  I have a couple of geldings who don't really respect a fence unless it's hot like fire and they stay off of it. Love it.

It was super easy to put in, visible, and relatively cheap. The best part is the stretchyness. I've had trees fall on the fence and once I cut the tree off, the fence popped back up. Didn't even break any insulators. Good good stuff.

We did 4 strands of hot tape with a 5 mile charger. Never had an issue. Kept our escape artist donkey in too.
