| Anybody remember those sweet rainbow colored Rockies and Wranglers we drooled over in the 90s? The wilder and louder the better?!
So we've been cleaning out Mama's basement and have found boxes, I mean boxes and boxes of them...what do we do with them??! Is there a "market" for gently used vintage (ugh, I'm old) high waisted jeans with no back pockets?!
There is noooo way I'm wearing them again and I'm almost embaressed to drop them off at goodwill...
Any takers??
PS :: there maybe a box or two of shirts also. Ya know the ones...crazy (hideous) patterns that almost make you queasy if you stare too long...and those super cute and functional capes on the back??
Any one interested in bringing back a fashion trend?? Or maybe relive your glory days?? I will be so happy/relieved to hook ya up! Lol!!

I still have a pair of Rockie's that I saved, just a reminder of how skinny I once was..When I lost weight last year from being so sick I tryed them on, I could never go back to high waisted jeans, they felt horrible. |

Haha! I was just thinking I sure I wish I could fit into those jeans from the late 80's/early 90's. You know the saying I wish I was as skinny as I was when I first thought I was fat. LOL |

| I had to share...hope it made y'all chuckle and fondly recall those glory days!
I held a pair up (no way I even attempted to try them on!) And was baffled. How was my waist so stinking small! The proportions of those jeans is terrifying!! And to think...I thought I sure was hot stuff! Rockin them with my favorite pair of Justin lace ups....man, I was cool!!!
But seriously...someone should really take these off my hands!! |

Location: North Dakota | I wasn't born until nearly half way through the 90's, but I know the ones you guys are talking about. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if some hipster would totally be into them. They could sell them at Urban Outfitters for $100 and people would buy them up. |

Loved my Justin lace ups too. Sometimes I think our waists were smaller cause we did wear them every day. |

| The Rockies thread was one of the best here on BHW. The waitresses at our local watering hole still wear them. |

...which is what you see a lot of with the low-rise jeans as well as shirt tails blooming out.
I think the waisthugging jeans were much more feminine looking......show off the curves. I was willowy with a little waist once. Can't hardly remember that. |
