Location: Under The Big Sky Of Texas | This is just horrible, What the He** is wrong with these sicko's, he murdered 50 young people in a nightclub that were having a goodtime, I just dont understand what is happening to our beautiful free country, just makes me so sick.. and so very sad.

Location: 100 miles from Nowhere, AR | Pretty sure the shooter had terrorist ties. Appears to be a terror attack against gay peeps, who islam says should die for their "sins". I can't believe he killed and injured so many by himself and then held them hostage for hours without being taken down by club patrons. |

This is a bar, which, like schools and churches, is a gun free zone... It was like shooting fish in a barrel because the law abiding people were unarmed. Gun control is not about guns, it's about control.

I saw that somewhere else.... I also saw something to the effect that this man has worked security at gay establishments before...
I think he just snapped.... it happens more than it used to, simply because there are more people now than there used to be...
I've seen his long gun described as an assault rifle... I'm wondering if it's an M16 or something like that... or if it's just a hunting rifle... 100+ rounds before anyone took him down.... Nope! not in a Texas bar... |

| I just want to say one thing. If we ban certain guns, of whatever amount of power, all it serves is to begin a slippery slope. We as Americans have the right to be as well armed as our goverment. Having American citizenship does not make you an American any more than boiling water makes you a chef, or owning a horse makes you a cowboy. Instead of knee jerking a reaction to push for any sort of control over the masses, the best defense would be total and full united front against acts of violence no matter the weapon. It's here. It's time. We collectively either stand together or its over. |
