Location: Missouri | I ride a mare that really bleaches out during summer. I could care less about her color fading, but her coat gets almost crisp and unhealthy looking. I'm needing some incite on a supplement/conditioner/or sheen that anyone has used that was able to create a healthy and shiny coat again! |

| I'm going thru the same thing right now with my 2 yr old. He use to be so golden and dappled but the sun has really faded him out. I don't have a barn and keeping a sheet on him isn't an option. |

| Mine are out 24/7 and look great. Platinum Performance keeps them shiney and dark. I do top dress at night with Cocosoya because my horses love it, but that is all mine get. |

Location: the end of the rainbow | I find that hosing the sweat off after a ride helps both with the color fading and the coat condition.

Location: Northern CA | I have been using Platinum Performance for about 18 months now and absolutely love it. My pali would turn almost white during the summer, he has kept his dark, dappled color this year, not to mention his mane and tail growth is out of this world. |

Location: Texas | Where are you located? I have three palominos and a sorrel and they have all faded terribly this summer. I hose them off after every ride and use fly sheets from 10a-6p. I live in Central Texas and I think the sun's intensity for bleaching is higher here than for someone in California, Colorado, or any other more northern state. |

South west MO. I'm sure it doesn't begin to compare to your Texas heat, but its been a hot hot hot summer for us. Plus the humidity on top of it all makes it awful. |

Location: Oklahoma | I have sorrels. They used to fade until I put them on California trace minerals. I been told they shouldn't fade if they are balanced nutrition wise. This year no fade |

I agree. I started feeding Triple Crown 30% ration balancer and I think I see an improvement in their coats already. |

Gold as Sun
^^^^^ THIS! In college I had a friend that used this on their palomino. I used the Black as Knight on my gelding and saw amazing results. |

Where a bouts in SW MO, I'm in SE Ks. I have a grulla that is fading out to look almost a light dun. He's got 45 X 20 ft of lean with a fan but would rather stand out in the sun, silly boy. I haven't been as good about hosing him off with EQ Solution this year but I think that does help. His faded color doesn't make him work any less and I would rather him be happy. |
