Location: I can see the end of the world from here! | Although I don't have a lot of confidence in the process I feel that I must TRY!
It's quite complicated, but, for those who remember me you know that I'm very passionate about our country and the Constitution. You also know that this battle over public lands is one dear to my heart...if we lose then the foundation that our country is built on will crumble...quickly.
The big environmental groups have played us and sold a bill of goods to some of the Tribal Leaders (none of which actually live in Utah), they have promised them impossible things and the Tribal Leaders have, in turn, lied to their own people...most of which do not support them. Alas, the media doesn't report truth.
We're fighting a National Monument designation of 1.9 miliion acres in our county...this would leave 8% as private property...this land is not in any danger from anyone or thing except the fed and the enviromentalists.
It has been drilled, mined, logged, grazed, chained and dozed...there's no oil, no coal, very little uranium and no water. Yet, the left has created fear in the hearts of the masses and have asked Obama to please designate it as a monument asap...
Would you please, please sign this petition and share it everywhere?
We're up against a lot of $$...the ranchers, the Natives...all of us are at their mercy.
I know that many do not understand the AUM's out here...and the fact that the Homestead Act didn't allow for enough land to make for viable homesteading, hence, the grazing permits that have come under fire...we cannot afford to lose our cattle industry. Or the ability to gather firewood to heat our homes.

Thank you so very much...the 'left' has been gathering momentum for decades...they are well organized. Unlike those of us who were raised to mind our own business...we get caught with our pants down! lol

I've started calling them EnviroNazi's. It fits. They want to tell everyone how they should think and live. To the great detriment of rural people's livelihoods. |
