Even though it was his own son Absalom who turned against him, David continued trust that The Lord would protect and sustain him NO matter how dire his situation. may we also turn to The Lord when we are besieged from every direction. Thou , O Lord art a shield for me. Many are they that rise up against me. Many there be which say my soul. There is no help for him in God. But thou, O Lord, art a shield for me; my glory and the lifter up of mine head. For it is WITH God all things are possible.
