Location: Ava, Missouri | Has anyone used essential oils for suspected ulcers in horses? Don't have the money at the moment to spend on a full course of omeprazole to treat. Curious if the essential oils really work on them? |

Essential oils are pricey as well....and no research to prove they will do anything other than smell nice on your horse.

Location: North Dakota | I had to look up a Zyto Scan....Honestly, why not google home ulcer medications for horses and see what you come up with? There are several ways to slow down the severity-until you have the money to actually treat.....at the very least try some aloe vera juice and maalox. |

Sounds like a bargain to me. Kinda like horse hair analysis. Just think of all the cures....ulcers, behavioral issues, liver, kidney, lung function, and all the toxins you can eliminate. You can customize your EO regimen and feed program for $150 (plus cost).

Normally suggestions of quackery are harmless, i.e. hair analysis, animal comunicators and what not.
But this advice is not only dangerous it's irresponsible. BHUSA would be proud. |

Location: Bastrop, Texas | I had to look up the "DigestZen". They say that you can either ingest this proprietary blend or rub it on your tummy to relieve GI upsets. I guess it diffuses directly across the abdominal wall into the stomach.
I feel much more enlightened now.....hence the Zen. |

But this advice is not only dangerous it's irresponsible. BHUSA would be proud.
Just know that my horse responds well and it's cheap and since the OP was interested I figured I would give accurate information about pricing.
I would however like to know your scientific facts regarding your highlighted comments. As far as I am concerned, DigestZen works for me and for my horse and that is all that matters. My family and I love using oils for any and all things. 
I would like to add that I use the oil for maintence. Not for treatment. I believe this was misunderstood.

This sounds really expensive. I buy all of my oils via Amazon or at the health food store here in town. Doterra does sell kits but you don't have to buy from the website. They sell on Amazon for much cheaper.  |
