My 2yo filly has a problem with dragging her hind toes, vet came out flex her moved her around then came to the conclusion that she's just being lazy. Should go deeper into my pockets for xrays? Has anyone else had one with that problem?

That sounds like stifle problems I would get a second opinion

We had one do this last year. The vet said that she had a fracture in her growth plate in her stifle, but after a second opinion it was really she was just growing unevenly & had no fracture.

I'd get a second opinion & x-rays just to be safe and make sure there's nothing going on. Especially as young as she is.

I would rule out EPM. The Florida lab's blood test is about $100 and a fast turn around.

I've seen them do that just being lazy with no issues. Sometimes it can be wobblers, or other things (like stifle and epm already mentioned).

Our colt that drug his toes had OCD lesions in his stifle.
