Why would the crowned Prince of Bahrain donate $32 Million to this front? When I ask this question to a liberal, all I get is a vacant stare and a shoulder shrug. What did the prince get, in return for this magnanimous gesture? Why would all the oil-rich countries be so interested in the Clinton Foundation? Is it because, like Hillary, they are interested in "women's rights"? LGBT rights?
In contrast, Rudy Guiliani refused a $10 million donation by the Saudi's to NY in the aftermath of 9-11.

Location: Bastrop, Texas | Actually, I'm less inclined to think this is really about differing ideology, per se'. The perceived ideological differences is just a perpetual tool to capture and retain power, and hence, wealth for an elite ruling class. We like to think that good old American exceptionalism, hard work, and risk taking is the goal to success, and it's still possible, albeit less prevalent in today's world. The elite ruling class I'm talking about is all about the capture of power and other people's money. The Clinton's personify this.
This elite ruling class needs deep divisions....the haves versus the have-nots, white versus black, white versus Hispanic or Muslim, man versus woman, gun control versus gun rights, straight versus LGBT, and so forth. They NEED divisions. They need racism, and other divisions to survive. I actually think it's less about "liberal versus conservative" than it is about capturing power and wealth.
In essence, this kind of cunning, deceit, duplicity, and dishonesty is justified to them.....it works. We are seeing it grotesquely displayed in front of our very eyes. The end justifies the means......the essence of Machiavellianism.
Of course, if you don't grasp the idea and need a comic book version, why yes, by all means find a movie to illustrate your point, like "The Gladiator". |

Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe people like the Clintons are altruists and public servants. Maybe they are just looking out for all the chirrens and downtrodden. They just want equality for everyone. They want fairness.
I've had an epiphany, thanks to Vickie's observation. Hillary knows that women are beaten, scorned, stoned, and raped, and gay people are dropped to their death off buildings, but the greater good is served if she can accept donations from those who do these acts, because that money will serve humanity many times over. Those deaths of women and gays are not in vain, to borrow a bit from Lincoln. |

That doesn't include trips on the Lolita Express with his friend, the convicted sex offender and pedophile, Jeff Epstein. Of course that little embarrassing factoid isn't really highlighted in the MSM. I guess that love nest on Epstein's private island was perfect for a future "First Gentleman".
