| I have noticed that some of the big name ropers like Brazile and Cooper are not in the PRCA standings. Is this because of them not going or something to do with the ERA? I haven't looked at other events to notice if any other big names were missing. So, what's the scoop? Thanks!! |

| Trevor, Tuf, etc and anyone else that is an ERA stockholder or on the ERA Board Of Directors is no longer allowed membership to the PRCA. You can be a member to both if you aren't a stockholder or on the Board.
The WPRA doesn't have these same rules. |

| Well that would explain the standings. So, they would have to close the ERA or sellout before they can re join the PRCA?
Wow, wonder if they were planning on that when they thought up this ERA gig? I am out of the loop... How is the ERA doing? |

The ERA has not been able to develop a follwing, stands are empty, big names are jumping ship. Rumor has it that the PBR is buying ERA. |

Wow, that is interesting. I would imagine that it might be kinda embarassing "having" to go back to the organization that you were actually slamming, so that you could start your own. Unless they don't go back to the PRCA.... |

What the heck would they want with the ERA? |

The PBR is pretty successful and the ERA was a good idea, just so poorly executed. It wouldn't surprise me if the PBR bought the ERA out. I think if that happened, the ERA stands a good chance to be successful. |

It would be pretty "convenient" if the PBR bought them out. They could then return to competing in PRCA rodeos because they no longer have a share in the ERA, but would still have the ERA also. I'm sure they are going to have to eat a lot of crow no matter what.... |

If they still leave the current ERA board intact, after the PBR 'buys it', I think some of them like Trevor would still not be allowed at PRCA events I think? |

If that actually happened let's hope the ERA likes Brazilians because they are on the brink of taking over the PBR. I can hardly stand to watch anymore.

| How has PRCA rodeo attendance been this year? Has it dropped dramatically without the "elite" athletes?
I bet you can finally pick up some NFR tickets cheap this year.

Location: 'Hawk Country | The PBR is not buying them. That came directly from the mouth of a share holder.
Although, I think some of the share holders aren't getting all the information about what is going on either.

Honestly the PRCA rodeos I have been to haven't seemed to be affected. Doubt the NFR will be cheaper but I hope so. ?? |

I found the tickets to be higher then last year and harder to get better seats.

| I don't think the NFR is going to be impacted at all. We're watching one of the PRCA Championship Challenges from KISSIMEE right now, stands are packed, well known names are there as well as some up and comers. I told hubby, there's always been young up and comers, but the ERA opened a spot for them. Frankly I don't even notice a difference in the true talent... JMHO |

Same here. I think it breathed some fresh air aka talent into the PRCA. Whether people want to admit it or not, it is exciting to bring new people into the mix every once in a while. Not saying that the ones who work hard to get there every year for 10 years is not exiting, I just think it is fun to see new faces also.
And Im ok with people being replaced who thought they couldn't be. Just Sayin. |
