Have an allergy prone horse that needs hay soaked. What tubs do ya'll use?

If I had to soak hay, I would get a 2" hole hay net, fill with hay, submerge in a water trough or barrel for recommended time (changing water between every soaking)  and then hang it up to drip out for a little while, then feed.  Or you could use a Portagrazer.  You can fill it with hay and water, let soak, then pull the plug on the bottom to drain and feed.

Could you just use a plastic muck bucket tub?  You may have to use 2 hay nets so they are not so full and they will fit in the tub better.

Used to soak orchard grass hay for a mare in muck bucket. We let it soak for 12 hours, dumped the water out and fed the hay. Never had a problem
