| I've got my LQ covered through State Farm because that's who has all my vehicle coverage.
When we get married we plan to shop again for all our combined vehicle, house, etc.
I pay $580/yr for coverage on it.

I have the same. But mine is a flat 99.00 a year for 30,000 replacement coverage. 580 seems like a lot. |

Good to know. Mine is brand new and would be more than $30k to replace, coverage limits per what the lienholder requires but couldn't tell to what they are without it right in front of me.
I went with it knowing we will be shopping all of our policies in the near future anyway. |

Location: Texas | Nationwide quoted me $600/year for $50,000 value.
I have Farm Bureau now, and they wanted to put it on a marine policy. No thanks. Bye bye, Farm Bureau. |

| make sure you always ask about the emergency road service. Most companies won't deal with your trailer if there are animals in it, such as changing a tire .
Also, ask questions if they want to insure it under an "Inland marine" policy, it's not just about boats.
Another thing to ask is if they are insuring it as an rv or a trailer.
Good luck!

Location: Texas | I have us rider. The insurance company is trying to use the retail value which was $92K but that's way below what we paid for it. The premium is more than our house! |
