Some horses are really easy to find a bit that they like and will run in. Others...not so much! How many times did you have to switch bits around to find a bit that your horse/s liked and worked well in? Most of my past horses took about 5 tries and that was it but my current main mount has racked his bit number up into the 20s!
Keep in mind, this is just a fun post, so have fun!

Mine will work in anything you put in his mouth BUT he will tell you if he didn't like that bit the next time you try to bridle him with it. He won't open his mouth for the bit, you will have to use your finger nail on his gums to make him open. If he likes the mouth piece, he will just open his mouth, no problem. He loves his Dutton 3 piece smooth dog bone mouth piece. He doesn't care about it being a snaffle or leverage, just as long as it has that specific mouth piece.
It took about 3 bit changes to figure this out.

Mine is 8 as in I ate all my feed and my trough is empty. Actually mine are so broke that they all run in a Jr Cowhorse or something very similar. I am not big on changing bits
