Who would you prefer for attending a clinic and why?

Both are within a half hour from me, both are $350, one is the 12-13th and the other is the 19th-20th of November.

The horse I'd be taking is 5 (being seasoned right now, not super solid quite yet) and I'm still working on learning to ride him - he's too quick for me. Would be good for both of us to attend a clinic, just having a hard time choosing!

Just my personal opinion but Connie Combs would be my first choice. I do have a suggestion. Have your horse vetted before you go so that you don't add additional problems when you are trying to learn.

I just attended a Josey clinic and had my horse injected so I could work on MY problems. After riding 12 hours on Saturday, I did give my horse a little bute. I know he was tired and sore

Judy would be my first choice 100%.  I'm about the same age as Rachel and used to see her at the CNFR when we were in college.  That girl is a HAND and so is her momma!

He's been vetted and is totally fine. I've been to two or three Josey clinics before and while they were great when I was starting out, they'd be pretty basic now. Was looking for something a little more advanced. I did notice there was a limit of 20 riders for the CC clinic which isn't too bad. I didn't see a limit for Judy's clinic so not sure how much one on one time I'd get.

I have never been to a Judy Myllymaki Clinic before. So, I can't say one way or not for her clinics.

But I have been to several of Connie Combs Clinics and have know her for a long time.
You won't go away disappointed.

You can always learn something from someone.

I have been to both a Judy and a Connie clinic. Actually several of them! Very different styles, but very good theory. Either one of them would be a good choice

No experience with a CC clinic but with Judy you will get a lot of different drills you can apply to your horse that will help with the barrel pattern. She is also very knowledgeable with bits....which is a huge asset as well with her clinics.
