Location: NeverLand | If you could move to Texas where would you go? Or if you live there, where is a good place to go. Preferably where they don't have any tornados... looking where they will have tons of barrel races! Pro and cons. Thanks!! |

| Stephenville area, tons of races locally, easy to get to Waco where large races are held, easy to get to Oklahoma.

Are you in Utah as well? I want to be able to ride year round with no snow! |

| Boerne, Bulverde, Stephenville, Terrell. Those are some of my favorites. Boerne and Bulverde don't have much for tornadoes, and neither does Seguin. Plenty of races down in that San Antonio country, plus the winters are pretty wonderful! |

Location: Under The Big Sky Of Texas | Pretty much central Texas is a good place to be for barrel races and weather, but our summers can kick your butt for someone that lives up north of us.. |

Location: Texas! | I second central Texas. I have lived in east Texas which I was not fond of, north Texas which was alright and now live in bosque county just NW of Waco and it's gorgeous here! Plus centrally located to hit a lot of big cities and big barrel races. I came from Wyoming where I love mountains and scenery. |

You can ride here but usually after dark. Lights a must have. Lots of covered arenas around. |

Location: Under The Big Sky Of Texas | You really have got to be born Texan, to beable to put up with the heat here, but I do know a few that are tuff as nails that moved here from another part of our great country and do pretty darn good. During the summer months its late evening riding for me and use my arena lights if staying close to the house. Unless your a morning person as I'm not, the early morning hours are a great time to ride. But when fall weather hits its Awwww so nice.. |

I'm in Colorado about 30 miles from Utah - and I completely! understand the desire to ride without Snow up to your eyebrows |

Lots of us ride all summer. I ride in the early mornings for the most part when it's hot. I can deal with a hot summer more easily than a cold snowy winter. You get acclimated and learn to work around it if you want to be serious about riding.
I love the Fort Worth area, really doubt I'll ever chose to leave.

Location: Oklahoma | I would say north side of dallas/fort worth. I lived down in stephenville for awhile also I like it better up here just preference greener and more trees reminds me of home I guess. We have races almost everynight of the week, not far to go north to ok city and just as easy to head south. Summers arent terrible ride at night or early mornings, I much rather the heat then the cold any day! I am orginally from Michigan and then lived in Colorado for 8 years, wouldnt change it one bit!! Also livind in arizona for a while and south dakota and down here is most diffently my favorite out of all the places I have been!

| There are several places Ive visited that I liked. East Texas is my neighbor and I feel at home and could easily see moving there. I also love the Bryan/College Station/Madisonville area. Visited some friends at a beautiful cutting operation in Gainsville, liked it there as well. Texas is just awesome. |

Location: Texas | I am from north east Texas and love it there. If you're in Texas, tornados are going to be an issue. Summer isn't that bad either, but I'm coming back from 115+ daily in the summer time. Went home on leave for about three weeks in August and the heat wasn't an issue. Was able to ride every day with no problem. |

Location: In the Hills of Texas | I thought I would love to live in Stephenville area until we went up there in the winter...Too windy and too cold. Seems you have to be as far south as San Antonio in order to get the mild winters. |
