Location: Some where I haven't left yet | Love him or Hate him, he's athletic. I won't touch another Murrtheblurr. But I'm from the NW and I've seen too many that could Buck. He's a broodmare sire for sure, and quite a few of his grand get are great... but I've ridden an own son... and I carried a jockeys' whip that I named "the Sh-Murr honesty tool" Pass for me, more for everyone else. |

| I have a mare that is double bred sun frost on top and murrtheblurr on the bottom. She is a great horse but gets overwhelmed easily if you ask for more than she can handle. Then she will act out. She has only kicked up with me out of frustration. But she does have a history or rearing. I've learned my boundaries with her and just take it slow. I always thought it was the sun frost that created this personality because any other sun frost or Frenchman's guy horses I've known were quirky. |

Location: Duvall, WA | He is on my "never" bloodlines list. Have seen one literally run straight into a wall stiff as a board rather than bend and turn. Not fun. |

| Also from the NW. I've seen two that I know of for sure that I run against fairly consistently, one gelding one mare, half siblings out of a Murrtheblurr daughter. Not sure on the gelding, but the mare was sired by a Bugs Alive In 75 son. Both are WICKED fast and athletic but not for the faint of heart. The mare is an awesome pole horse especially. They're definitely quirky and not for everyone but man, stay on your toes and out of their way and you've got a winner. |

| Not a fan. DTF made Murrtheblurr look much better than he really was. |

| With all I'm hearing about him I can't help but think he might be a carrier for something that makes the colts so hard to work with.....PSSM??? I know two Murrtheblurr's and they're both what everyone else is saying and I suspect them for PSSM but I forgot they even went back to him! Both are granddaughters |

Location: Some where I haven't left yet | I would agree with the PSSM.. Maybe.. BUT,,,, The "Shmurr" would win the NFR and every barrel race out there in the Warm up pen.... If your money was on the post, he'd never seen a barrel in his LIFE. He was beyond athletic, but he was also calculating, he would wait until your gaurd was down then he'd go to bucking. If he dumped you he would run around with his head and ears up, if he could have laughed he would have been. I can assure everyone that the Shmurr had ZERO physical issues. |

Location: California | Had a grandson that was phenomenal temperament and awesome riding horse. Competitive in barrels, awesome rang horse. I'd seriously love to have him back. But that being said, he also was an easy jet grandson, so I don't know who he pulled from. |

| I knew of one that was super super nice when she wanted to be and smoke everyone, but you never knew when you were going to get that wicked awesome horse or Satan. Good luck but I would proceed with caution. |

Location: "...way down south in the Everglades..." | My one's got Murrtheblurr AND Beduino as his great grandparents...I'm hoping all the others in there dilute the cray cray out of him since it's farther back. Thus far, I'm not convinced, although I really like him aside from how flippin' hot he is. |

I have a 3 yr old who's top side is Murrtheblurr x Jet Deck/Leo. She has a pretty ornery streak that will show up every once in awhile but the trainer is drooling over her and thinks she has what it takes to be a pro calf horse. |
